Eberron
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in starting an Eberron campaign beginning in Sharn? We will use Ultimate Psionics instead of the Occult Adventures for PF1, if you are interested in playing a psionic character.
But I'm mostly looking to run a game based off a swashbuckling movie. Like the Adventures of Robin Hood. I want to do something fun and exciting. Where the PCs do daring deeds in their adventures. I'd like the PCs to take risks when they are facing an opponent. Use their hero points, and create something bards will sing of in later years.

How much time are you thinking will be spent in Sharn? This is one of the most extraordinary city settings in all of RPGdom, perfect for this concept, and the minute the party leaves, that kind of ends.
Is there a perception that Ultimate Psionics has something on PF1 occult? I get that there was an update that made knacks not cost PP, but I'm not sure that makes a Psionic equal to a Kineticist.
Just interested in your thoughts :)
(plus it promotes the thread)

I'm hoping to spend the whole campaign in Sharn. But that's up to the players, ayup!

The Eberron campaign supports Psions, Psychic Warriors, Soulknives, and Wilders. It's better, and a lot less work in my opinion, that we use Ultimate Psionics because their is little conversion to do.

Daring deeds and risk-taking fits my playstyle just fine, but I'm not familiar with the Eberron setting. Is foreknowledge necessary? Is there somewhere I can go to learn?
Yep. The .pdf version of the Eberron Campaign Setting (3.x) is cheap to download from DriveThru.
Similarly, the .pdf version of the Eberron Player's Guide (4e) is also cheap to download. But we are using the 3.x version because it provides the best version to use with Pathfinder. If you don't want to spend money, there are various websites you can go to where you can learn all about Eberron.
Also, as a last resort, you can ask the people on the Eberron Discord for help. I don't recommend them though. They are disrespectful to outsiders.

When level are you thinking of? And do we have a hook? Dark lanterns, Boromar clan, or something else?
Oh, a dark lantern game would be interesting. Fantasy meets Mission: Impossible or James Bond. If only I can read my Spycraft books on that one! Eberron would be able to handle such a campaign. This is just an interest check, though. I want to know how many people would be interested.
Also, I'm thinking of starting you at 3rd level.
