He wields a massive single Edge Battle Axe and a Round Heavy Shield with Similar colors to the rest of him

I know I want to wear Full Plate and Two Weapon Fight With my battle Axe and Shield . I am if able want to go in to a fear build but not sure if I can or should. Or if another approach would be better .

I know I could probably do a Fighter but id like to know my other options . My Character is a bit of a Berserker / Battle junkie

Shop slayer for all your full BAB needs!

head to toe in Jet Black Armor? Four Mirror Armor!

"This armor consists of four plates harnessed together with leather shoulder straps. Two round plates protect your front and back, while two smaller rectangular plates cover the sides of the torso. Four-mirror armor is worn over chainmail to provide added protection, and comes with a spiked helmet with a chainmail hood." You can even make it Mithral if you're wanting to eventually go dex.

Battle Axe and Shield fighting? Our wide selection of Slayer Talents include the Ranger's Weapon and Shield style! Feats feats feats gallore!

Fear build, we've got skill points for days! Even if you drop your int to 8, our base 6 sp/level means you can keep intimidate maxed and be useful out of combat!

You want rage? Try our Half-orc/Blood Vengeance feat combo! Your boddy drops, you get rage lite! Or maybe you'd like to see our VMC Barbarian options.

The slayer also has advanced talents for heavy armor, but that could be a long wait to live your heavy armor dreams. The axe and shield combo would start working rather early though with the ranger combat style.

If you want to emphasize the "berserker / battle-junkie" and still wear heavy armor, the armored hulk barbarian archetype can work. Start with (human) Dex at 15 or 16 plus Improved Shield Bash and Two-Weapon Fighting at 1st level. Barbarian rage powers have some decent options for a "fear build," as well (Intimidating Glare, Terrifying Howl, etc.). Battle axe and light (round) shield are fine to start with; spending a feat for one of the exotic one-handed axe weapons may not be worth it for this character. Consider Quick Draw and upgrading the shield to a quick draw version to switch between bow and axe/shield more easily. Eventually, you will want a bashing quality on the shield.

Note that Rage bonuses can help counteract the TWF penalties. IMO, you will not need to raise Dex above 17. Pretty much all of the TWF-chain feats you should consider don't require anything more; Improved Two-Weapon Fighting is useful, but Greater Two-Weapon Fighting (which requires 19+ Dex) is less mechanically relevant for DPR than Two-Weapon Rend (and Double Slice is definitely relevant for a barbarian using TWF). Shield Slam is also probably worth looking at.

Your description of the character's height and armor brought back the image of the Anti-Paladin I played in college lo, those years ago. He wore armor made of black glassteel (a spell in those days that turned glass into a substance as hard as steel) but instead of blue he trimmed his in dark green, the colors of his deity, Set.

Ahem..sorry...fell into a reverie.

Slayer, go with Slayer, I think. Or even a Paladin or Cavalier. I don't know what alignment you want but a black-clad do-gooder is always a nice contrast.

You could also go vigilante. Shield of fury talent gives u imp shield bash and eventually TWF without prerequisites. Signature talent gives weapon focus/specialization. Combat skill talent lets half ur lvls count as fighter lvls for feats. There are also talents for heavy armor as well.

@ DungeonmasterCal
Ya He is going to be good. Just not sure if lawful or chaotic

@Trokarr vigilante could be a chance to test my role-play Skills

@ Dragonchess Player: ya I could see that. I'll type it out and see how it looks

@ Matthew Morris: I want to Tso weapon fight with Shield and Axe but also want to trigger stuff like Shatter Defense. I'd go Ranger combat style at level 2 and so on what one would be a better choice ?

The text reads The slayer selects a ranger combat style (such as archery or two-weapon combat) and gains a combat feat from the first feat list of that style. He can choose feats from his selected combat style, even if he does not have the normal prerequisites. At 6th level, he may select this talent again and add the 6th-level ranger combat feats from his chosen style to the list. At 10th level, he may select this talent again and add the 10th-level ranger combat feats from his chosen style to the list.

So if you stay slayer, you have the flexibility to get the feats, or more talents.

Level 1 WF
Level 2 TWF from Shield style
Level 3 Dazzling display
Level 4 Slayer Talent, which I'd take Obscuring blow.
Level 5 free choice feat
Level 6 retrain (if possible) level 5 feat for shatter defences.

Two weapon fighting with battle axe and a heavy shield is not a good idea. The problem is that a heavy shield is not a light weapon so your penalty to hit is -4 on each weapon. You can use a light shield to reduce the penalty to -2. A better option would be to use the shield defensively and take shield brace instead of two weapon fighting. Then use a bardiche and heavy shield. This allows you to use a two handed weapon while still using a heavy shield. You don’t get as many attacks but the attacks you do get do a lot more damage. A bardiche is basically an oversized axe on a pole so that seems to fit.

For class go for a paladin and take the trait bully to get intimidate as a class skill. At 1st level take power attack and shield focus and pick up shield brace at 3rd level. Take Intimidating powers at 5th and cornugon smash at 7th level. You get the benefit of using a shield while still getting the damage of a two-handed weapon.

It may not be “worth” the feats, but if you really want to two weapon fight with 2 one handed weapons, possessed hand and hand’s autonomy can help with that.
