Abomination Vaults rewards

I'm just transitioning from 1st ed to 2nd ed, and I was planning on running Abomination Vaults. However, I'm really, really confused by the chronicle sheets. I see in the docs that the sheets give 12 XP each, and that there are three of them, which means playing from levels 1-4. However, in product description of this adventure, it states levels 1-11. How does this work? I am really confused. Thanks for your input.

You don't run it for PFS characters. You run the 3 books from 1-11 and each time you finish a book you and the players all get a 12xp chronicle that is applied to a PFS character.

Do you remember "Campaign Mode" from PFS1? It's referred to as "Adventure Mode" for PFS2. It works essentially the same way: play through the Adventure as a homegame, then apply credit to your PFS characters.

The biggest difference now being that many Chronicles can be applied to a character of any Level, rather than just a set level range.
