Nice to see the Iconic Magus get some love

So, bit of a preamble . . . I'm sure most of you have noticed, but for those that haven't, for every Adventure Path, Paizo chooses four of their iconics to be the 'guys' who go through that path. These iconics are featured on the cover and on the illustrations inside. Not every iconic 'on the mission' is featured in ever illustration, but if you look at enough of them, you get the idea. For example, by looking at the covers of extinction curse, we can see that Lini (iconic Druid) is the ringmaster and has her animal companion jump through a flaming hoop as her act, Fumbus (Iconic alchemist) does a fire-juggling act, then there is Harsk (iconic Ranger) and Amiri (Iconic Barbarian).

So for Blood Lords, looking at the leaked images, it seems the iconics are:
Sajan-Iconic Monk
Quinn-Iconic Investigator
Korakai-Iconic Oracle
and . . . Wait, what? Seltyl!? Iconic Magus is in the fray? That's fantastic! I don't think I've ever seen him as one of the main PCs before.

Korakai was in Fist of the Ruby Phoenix, Quinn was in Strength of Thousands, And Sajan has been in both Agents of Edgewatch and Fist of the Ruby Phoenix.

It took me a solid fifteen minutes to figure out who the white-haired half elf was supposed to be. I was like "That's not Mios, they have black hair . . . that's not the new psychic, because he puts his hair up in a ponytail . . . not Merisel . . ."

Anyway, great to see some Magus love from the team, that is all.

Just to add on to this, our iconic Summoner is in the art for Frozen Flame (Ranger, Alchemist, Barbarian, Summoner).

It's always a pleasant surprise to me when I see an iconic outside of the core group.

While Selty's new art is gorgeous, I can't help but miss his edgy black leather look (also don't mind how low-cut his top was).

I'm not sure why but I thought they'd replaced Quinn with someone new for the investigator iconic.

Nope, he made it through! The changes so far have been for Alchemist, Oracle, Summoner, Gunslinger, and Psychic.

You know what it probably was? I think I got him and the other APG iconics muddled with the pregenerated characters from The Slithering, which also included a pretty awesome orcish investigator.
