Battlezoo Bestiary and craft skill

Product Discussion

I'm liking the Battlezoo Bestiary monster parts system. Anyone used it yet or have thoughts on pitfalls of it?

From what I read, I'm really not sure how to integrate the craft skill into it. Seems it would be just adding extra complexity to the system without gaining much. My players are already fairly unenthused with pf2e crafting so I may just omit it entirely. That being said, I was thinking it may be a good way to get them more interested in the craft skill, if it gave them a bonus to this.

Something like using craft could get them a bonus to the amount of monster parts when they invest/imbue. It would be a range from 50%-150% depending on their roll (and for balance I'd give them a smaller amount of parts than I would without the crafting modification).

I'd still allow them to do the simple version suggested in the book where the invest/imbue happens every day using whatever parts you've decided. This would just give them the opportunity to get a better yield using their skills.
