So in a viking them I want a build that's mobile, fast, skilled, a bit ravage and terrifying in close quarter Lvl 5

Advice

Is a wildshaper polymorpher my best bet?

What's your idea?

Sorry for making several posts. I'm deleting the old once.

I wanna be savage but versatile.

We start at lvl 5 and probably wont go past 9 and we start with 200 gold.

When I hear viking, savage and versatile, I think of the Skald. If you want to move quickly around the battlefield, then there's the bladed dash spell.

When you say Viking, I think Viking.

Human
... Focused Study
... Heart of the Fey

Viking Fighter VMC Cavalier
... Order of the Cockatrice

1. Skill Focus Perception
1. Power Attack
1. Shield Focus
2. Hurtful
3. Challenge (VMC)
4. Unhindering Shield
5. Raging Vitality
6. Cornugon Smash
7. Dazzling Display (VMC)
8. Skill Focus Intimidate
8. Furious Focus
9. Chain Challenge
10. Lesser Beast Totem
11. Tactician/teamwork feat (VMC)
12. Beast Totem
13. Iron Will
14. Greater Beast Totem

Fearsome allows you to Intimidate a single opponent as a move action at level 2... obviously, you take Hurtful so you can hit them as swift action... then hit them again with your regular Power Attack. Unhindering Shield and the Viking's Shield Defense makes your mithral buckler baller AF. Raging Vitality keeps your angry @$$ alive. Cornugon Smash means you can use the Hurtful swift action extra attack on pretty much everyone you hit. Order of the Cockatrice's Dazzling Display is a standard action, not full, so that is nice, plus it's "free". At level 10, Fearsome allows you to Intimidate a single person as a swift action... doesn't help with Hurtful, but it's still a nice trick.

Then you get pounce.

I'm thinking Witchwolf Skinwalker as a Nature Fang Druid. Extra Feature nets you claws and a bite or a +2 to all saves. If you pick up a bite or claws from elsewhere, it's still real good. Druid gets you lots of utility. 4 skill points is fine, spells obviate the need for lots of skills. Take Druidic Herbalism for your pre-battle brews or bring a trusty battle bear or wolf into battle.

Brawlers and Slayers are pretty savage.

Combine the two, so my Tigger build? Granted, you will probably want to adjust it for your game. But essentially Skald with +8 Str/Con & +4 Dex. The Wild Shape doesn't come online until level 6 though, and can be a Celestial Spellcasting Tiger(with Pounce) at 8 (if you rearrange the feats).

You could skip the wild shape stuff and it is still decent and versatile. Amplified Rage really helps.

Okay, I'll be the odd one out:

Monk.

No, really. Monk. You might not think of them as savage, but you can play one any way you like. And they're definitely brutal, mobile, fast and skilled. Don't let that whole "lawful" thing mislead you; these guys and gals are pure murder.

Hehe yeah actually been on the thought of it!
Love monks it's just that lawfull part that kinda sucks, however taking a few levels in it then something else could work just fine.

Dark Archive

Cavalier 2 (any archetype, take order of the cockatrice)/ Thug rogue 1

you have a standard action 30ft AoE that can cause the frightened condition, making all enemies run in fear

That'd make the CQC a lot harder though.

grab combat reflexes and make AoOs vs ones that run away.

maybe use a reach weapon to get AoOs when they come back

Could you rate my current choices of builds or perhaps make them better? Ill post my alchemist first and a psywarrior a bit later.

1 lvl unarmed fighter dragon style feat
4 levels of w / beastmorph
20 str 14 dex
11 con16 int 7 wiz7 cha
Feats: Dragon style, WP claws, Feral Combat training, power attack.
Feral Mutagen & Bleed discovery

Extracts: Pouncing fury, Expeditious Retreat and perhaps enlarge person.
AC 16 (22) 2 with mutagen + 4 with shield.
*Claw [Power Attack] +10/+10 1d6+11
*Bite: 1d8+7
*Bleed +4 dmg per round for anyone i hit.
*Sneak attack: 4d6.

It's a bit of a glass cannon? Terrible will save, not to high ac, specially without buffs and ish low HP.
But it does what i want though. Hope to charge ppl flat footed or flanked.

Psywarrior:

Iv started work on a bloodrager and looking at archetypes to see if it can be great.

I wonder if I can make someone with high ac, good saves and still dish out decent dmg.

The opposite of a glass cannon.

I think my psywar is that in a way, but wanna see what else i can get.
