Summoning Undead?

Rules Questions

So is it possible to summon undead like one would an outsider or a beast in the preexisting rules? Spells, feats, builds, anyway and everyway is good to know. If there is no way to then I would also appreciate a definitive "no way, no how" so I know homebrew is necessary.

Summon Undead This is a 3pp spell though. Skeleton Summoner might be what you're looking for, and it's PFS legal. Generally speaking though, Undead are usually "created" or "animated" from a corpse, you don't really summon them.

you might want to take the Skeleton Summoner feat.
it let you add 2 different skeletons to the normal summon monster list (i and III f)or human skeleton and skeleton champion) and once per day summon a skeleton version of a monster you can summon by applying the skeleton template on it.

EDIT: oops, didn't read through Ryze post past the 3rd party part. he already have that listed

You can turn an eidolon into pseudo-undead, by adding the Undead Appearance evolution (healed by negative energy, +2 on saves vs. some stuff undead are immune to). Appearantly works for classic summoner only, though.

Some deities have special summon monster options which include undead for their followers. Urgathoa obviously, also Zursvaater and Kabriri.

You called?

Oh.

Darnit, another false alarm.

This item is sort of undead summoning... Robe of Bones
