Hey, all!
I had a group run through a scenario this afternoon. They had to take a pre-gen with them due to a late drop. At one point, they come across an encounter wherein they bought drinks from the bartender. They spent around 140 credits. Their request was to have the pregen just pay for everything from their credits on their sheet.
It seems a little disingenuous to use the pregen as a free money bank for the scenario. However, I can't find anything in the Society guide that addresses this specific situation. My thought would be to total up the credits spent, divide it by the number of characters in the scenario and reduce their credit reward by that amount.
What's the consensus on a situation like this? Thanks!

As long as the Pregen's player wasn't being pressured or harassed out-of-character and was on board with the idea.
Pregens are available to use and/or abuse. They can be kamikaze meatshields. Their batteries can be distributed for everyone else to use. Their gear can be sold to help pay for condition removal. Spending 140 credits is more favorable than Obozaya selling her Officer Ceremonial Plate to pay for alcohol.
I definitely would advise against surprising everyone after the session with an unexpected surcharge on their Chronicles.
