I've tried to get my 2E pdf rulebook onto Google Play Books to read on my Android phone and tablet, but it seems to come out ridiculously huge.
The pdf file is 77MB to start with and seems like it goes onto Play Books okay. But then when I try to download it, I can see the app start to take all available space and then my phone/tablet complains it is full.
The app will be taking up over 1GB (oldish devices so I don't have a huge amount of space), with the rulebook only on about 25% downloaded.
Has anyone else found the same, or got any solutions? I would guess that Google is just not using very good compression on the images.
I've managed to upload the 1 file per chapter version, and this works, but I can't see why a 77MB single file shouldn't work too! I've currently just got 1 chapter downloaded (no other books), and the app is using 227MB of data.
