Brawler guide, debuffin with style
Here are two brawler guides that each have some specific information on how to pick feats to open up the widest variety of martial flexibility options.
Not gonna be 100% relevant to picking up barroom brawler but does a good job of explaining how to get the most out of the ability.

There is the Feat Dirty Fighting which serves as a prerequisite for all the things Combat Expertise serves as a prerequisite for, and it seems to be a more popular feat with the kids these days. Because of the split-party, I'd say that Power Attack is a more common Feat than Combat Expertise.
Incorrect
Dirty Fighting only counts for the maneuver feats and not anything elseThis feat counts as having Dex 13, Int 13, Combat Expertise, and Improved Unarmed Strike for the purposes of meeting the prerequisites of the various improved combat maneuver feats, as well as feats that require those improved combat maneuver feats as prerequisites.

So right now, for the mini chain I am looking at Barroom Brawler and the extra fighter weapon training for more charges (at level 7 when I can legally take it) Plus getting Combat Reflex in there this is the "plan" right now
1) Weapon Focus, Weapon Finnesse, Exotic Weapon (dueling sword), Slashing grace
2-CF) Weapon Focus -> Wushu Darts
3) Combat Expertise
4-BF) Weapon Spec (Sword)
5) Barroom Brawler
7) (Unknown)
7-BF) Advanced Weapon Training -> Abundant Tactics

Okay, but my point is that since Dirty Fighting can be taken as a prerequisite for things--only some things, ok--Power Attack is probably more commonly taken than Combat Expertise.

I realize that others may someday refrence this, and other situations may be different, but my Str 9 character does not see Power Attack as a probable feat to take :)

Dodge is also a prereq for a fair amount of feats that would be pretty nice for Barroom Brawler (since they are feats I'd hate to blow a perma feat choice on, ie; Mobility, Wind Stance, Lightning Stance, etc...)
Seems to me that most of the dodge trees also require mobility (maybe I am wrong)

But if you want to, just take 2 levels of ranger (or slayer) to get the 2 handed combat style and get power attack as a bonus feat without meeting prerequisites.

Mostly. The feats that don't require mobility (but do require dodge) are ones I wouldn't care about either.

just wanted to add. anyone doing a list of feats to grab on the fly should consider to take up "Dedicated Adversary" - not as a permanent feat, as the feat to pick with barroom brawler and such (if not going for feat chains)
- gaining a +2 bonus on attack, damage, Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive and Survival checks against a specific creature kind. also can make Knowledge skill checks untrained when attempting to identify it.
a feat that give you this much with no requirement (other then not having a favored enemy already) is pure gold!

This isn't a feat you'll always use, but I think GHOSTSLAYER is a great feat to have in your back pocket for when you need it.
It's situational, and it's not a prerequisite for anything but it's something you'll love when you need it.

A couple seem nice but not worth the investment (early anyways), Dodge might get taken later, but defiantly not soon...

This is a nice list, should make sure I have the one prereq I don't have (KS Dungeon). I think I will take Conbat Expertise in the opening I have...

Does [Rat catcher] come with a small but vicious dog?^^
not sure I get the reference
Many breeds of small dogs, especially terriers, were bred specifically for catching rats. In Victorian and/or Edwardian England, there was a fairly popular bloodsport where you gamble on dogs' ratcatching prowess. There was a depiction of it in the tv show Penny Dreadful
