Yep, as the title said, I had a dream last night.
Basically, the dream was about people living on a generation ship. Flying in FTL, it's not fast enough to cross the space between galaxies. Anyway, while in FTL, the society on board ship had a number of civilizations rise and fall.
The society doesn't know why they are on board a colony ship bound for a distant star. Earth (or Golarion) is a distant memory, a myth. In FTL (using a Warp Engine), they cross the space between Galaxies. Yeah, I know the in universe limitations on FTL, but this is different.
Also, everyone is naked onboard ship thanks to a regulated environment. The game begins with the ship entering the target Galaxy (probably the Triangulum Galaxy). The PCs (all races from the Core Rulebook are available) are noticing that they are nearing a star system and want to explore that star system. However, the leader of the current civilization says, "No."
I don't know about that last paragraph, but I could see a short "flashback" AP set in the Idari, before it arrived at the Pact Worlds.
A kasatha-only campaign would be quite something.
