... includes alternate traits for a lot of races. While we get some alternate traits in the COM, there's some for the Vesk.

Do you think these alternate traits to be over the top?

I'm not tItaly sure what you're asking.

Is the question whether alternate racial traits on general are over the top? Or the ones in Near Space? Or the number that vesk have to choose from?

Or is it something else, and I misunderstood worse than I thought?


The Vesk ones in Near Space. Do you feel that they are over the top?

I assume you specifically mean Cave Senses and Forceful Mind, since the others are clearly no big deal?

Both of them are quite good. And I would say that the benefits of Cave Senses will outweigh the downsides consistently enough that it may be a little stronger than it should be, but I don't worry too much about it actually breaking the game, since we've had races with built in blindsight for a good long while.

Forceful mind is excellent, but I don't think it's a gamebreaker, either, and the feature that it replaces is honestly just as strong, in many, MANY builds.
