Crime at Absalom Station

Dark Archive

I sense trouble in the northern area of the Absalom Station. I watched as androids rioted in the streets, forcing humans to hide in their ancestral abodes. I do not know what to make of this, for I am an 8,000-year-old sentient robotic being that has traveled across the universe. I want to feel pain or remorse for the victims of these great riots but my designers prevented me from feeling real emotions. I am not originally from the Absalom Station, I do not know my true beginning. I know that I was built by ancient humans that are more powerful than myself. I truly believe the human population at Absalom Station needs the help of galactic officials. - Bryan Pluton Malzadar

I, DRAGONBOT, HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THE HUMANS. THEY ENJOY CONSIDERABLE DOMINANCE ON ABSOLOM STATION DUE TO THEIR AFFILIATION WITH THIS GOLARION PLACE THAT DISAPPEARED BEFORE ANYTHING IMPORTANT HAPPENED IN THE GALAXY. A HISTORICAL QUIRK LEADING TO TRAGEDY.

IF HUMANS FEEL SHAME FOR THEIR HISTORICAL MISTREATMENT OF ANDROIDS AND HIDE LIKE PREY ANIMALS IN THE FACE OF LEGITIMATE GRIEVANCES, THEN SO BE IT. MOST OF THEM WILL LIVE, FOR WHATEVER BRIEF PERIOD HUMANS GET IN THE UNIVERSE. IF THEY MAKE RESTITUTION TO SATE THE UNREST, SO MUCH THE BETTER.

ALSO, YOUR BODY MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT BY ANCIENT HUMANS, BUT YOU ARE YOUR OWN BEING AND THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN YOU. MY BODY WAS BUILT AS A PROP IN TRIAXIAN MUSIC VIDEOS, BUT MY SOUL IS MY OWN, NO MATTER HOW MANY LAWSUITS THEY THROW AT ME.

Your body may be 8000 years old, but this iteration of your consciousness is probably no older than a century ^_^

Nah, says's he's an SRO, which could stick around. Still, the gap would have hit him as much as anyone else, so he'd only remember the last 320 of it anyways.

The morlamaw smiles.
"I heard from rumors that those humans used to be a part of a gang called the Downside Kings, and they were kicked out for sentient trafficking. Rumor is that someone told the Android Abolitionist Front who they were and where to find them, with predictable results."
Brightwater shakes his head.
"Predictable."
