Paizo still has Core Rulebooks for sale, so presumably your FLGS could order more of them if they want to.
I would take that to mean that we are not about to see a second printing with altered text in the near future (as I think we have already had one or more with unaltered text).
That is interesting. One or more distributors are out of copies, but Paizo still has enough to keep it from Backorder status.

Currently holding out until one is available because the errata changes seem quite massive and as a new player I'll be struggling with cross referencing.
I know that there will be more erratas in the future, these just seem like the most impactful issues.
My FLGSs don't have any copies left so I was wondering if the 2nd printing was already well under way.
The errata is not "quite massive" it's actually pretty minor IMO

Although we are getting another one, so we will have to see how it ends up.
I expect it to have moderate changes by the next printing.

It could be as simple as a (poor/bad/less-than-ideal) distributor who won't place an order for things below a certain quantity. That'd be bad, because you could have ten different stores requesting Qty 1 of the same item, and the distributor turns them away one by one because they won't order less than 10 from Paizo. I'm guessing that's the scenario at play here.
