How many player characters do you think will be killed by the Fall of Plaguestone boar over the game's lifespan? My players fought this thing today, we were down one person so we had a party of four instead of five, and one of the characters wasn't there for that particular encounter. All three remaining players went down at different points, two of them to crits. They all just barely survived, since the cleric was able to heal the downed barbarian before getting downed herself, the witch used her hero points to stabilize, and the barbarian used the cleric's healer's tools to stabilize her.
And after all that, the boar got away with 1 hit point.

Depends completely on how they approach it :D I think the parties who realize that boars are actually super dangerous animals in real life will do bit better as long they don't have awfully bad luck.(in my party's case, nobody got downed, but they did take heavy hits while being careful)
Yeah, afterwards I explained to my party that PF2 boars are much like real life ones. They can run really fast, make you hurt really bad, and that's all they're built for.

The first party came to town, then I realized there was background quests that nobody took and the party was better suited for leaving town on the next wagon before any murder.
level 2 eaten alive by wolves as kept dying to persistent damage, only the alchemist scion ran into the woods, but despite no martials the new party survived the level 3 orc party. The rogue decided to suicide tank the adventure boss rogue which helped her party win by stopping the bombs from flying.
The board and the bear was daily bosses that killed a lot but lets say the PCs had a heroic will to live...
So I guess three PC per player...the cause of death is written on the character sheets and kept in a pregen morgue.
The alchemist scion will retire in town and take over the alchemy biz.

I don't think any of the investigation side quests should have had any combat. Since this is when the party is meeting they split up so the party Champion ended up solo vs the boar went down and I had the boar lose interest after so the Champion woke up in the house.
Also the fight locations are overly favoring the enemies in most of the fights that can make things go bad fast. The crawl only cave entrance to the den. The acid pool with the wind outside the sculptors lair.
