Reaper Bones Kickstarter V

Miniatures

So the kickstarter for Reaper's 5th bones set just wrapped up. I will admit that the thing that I was most disappointed about was that there was not any Pathfinder miniatures released in this line, in the new (and frankly quite awesome) Bones black material.

Is there a plan for collaboration for new miniatures with Reaper, or is it just the paint line from here on out? (The paint line is freaking amazing by the way, for anyone who wants to paint any Pathfinder miniatures, the colors in that line are just gorgeous...and no, I don't work for Reaper.)

This isn't an attack or criticism - I loved the line and heavily backed the kickstarter regardless of the lack of Paizo minis, just curiosity if there is anything in the works for more Pathfinder stuff in the new material...because quite honestly I prefer Reaper's work to Wizkids (not that they are bad either, just preference).

the wizkids minis are less detailed and the pre-priming makes it worse. After working repeatedly with both, I much prefer Reaper and on top of that the bones black material is much better than the old, floppy plastic.

I also prefer reaper - the wizkids unpainted line are great for large creatures and above (I loved painting the ox and can't wait to get the T-Rex) but for medium and smaller a lot of the sculpts detail is lost.

I much prefer reaper, though didn't end up investing in bones 5 because weirdly enough it didn't have any sculpts I particularly liked or many creatures that I particularly wanted? It felt a bit lackluster compared to previous reaper bones campaigns.

We'd love to work with Reaper on more Pathfinder miniatures, but we don't have anything new to report at this time. We've got a brand new Bestiary full of beasties, with a second in the works for next year, but the decision to make more minis lies with Reaper.

I asked on Reapers forums about this a while back and still have not had a definitive response either way. Only thing could have been all the planning for the kickstarter may have muddled things, still waiting but it was suggested to ask during one of Reapers livestreams for information.

EtG.

Edit: The Reaper forum thread.

Sovereign Court

What would be cool would be models for the deities that have stats like the empyreal lords etc.

I have harassed them about this on their live update for the Kickstarter, thank you for the response. I hope they reach out soon!

Maybe don't do the first thing to encourage the second one actually happening.

I was hoping they'd do some of the named NPCs they already have in metal, but I understand if the new edition muddled things.

I just hope any return isn't just the iconics. I've already got all the prior Bones versions, with Battles I'm up to 3 versions of the core/APG characters.

Reaper has moved the Pathfinder line pretty much entirely to Bones; I think it's been about 2 years since they released a new metal Pathfinder mini.
