If you don't know where to start, let me make a few suggestions. For players, if you want awesome races that go beyond the basics of the core rulebook, I recommend checking out the Book of Heroic Races: Advanced Compendium. This book covers 12 races that received very little information in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Advanced Race Guide and other sources, giving them the attention they deserve. Not only is this a book of racial details, but it heavily features class options, spells and more that are themed to the race and plays well with its strengths. While you are at it, grab the Book of Heroic Races: Occult Intrigue in the Wilderness. This book adds more archetypes and class options for the races in the Advanced Compendium for the last three class books Paizo produced.
Are you a GM that deed some adventures? How about the 7th level adventure Deadly Delves: Reign of Ruin. This 5-Star rated adventure features a smart black dragon. Need something higher level? We have The Gilded Gauntlet at 9th level, The Chaosfire Incursion at 11th level, 9 Lives for Petane at 12th level, Temple of Luminescence at 15th level, and The Dragon's Dream at 16th level.
