Deflect Projectiles with an energy kinetic weapon

If I have a weapon that deals both energy and kinetic damage, can I use the Deflect Projectiles feat to deflect both energy and kinetic attacks?

I believe the answer is yes.

I can't actually see any line of reasoning that would lead to a different conclusion, since the division is based on the damage type you deal, not the AC you target.
