I have a player who is a selkie and we set her age to something but she said she saw somewhere that Selkies live as long as seal, while I read they live as long as humans. So i was researching it more and saw a few sites say they live as long as humans, one site says they live an avg of 100 years, and some that just don't say at all. Each site also says something different about when they reach adulthood (one says 2-3 years, another says 5, a third says 15...)
So my question is, does anyone have any advice as to what I should do about age? We are playing pathfinder, which doesn't have actual player stats for selkies.

The Bestiary entry for Selkies say they live 75 years. This was in Bestiary 4. I'd consider this is official unless Paizo has published something after Bestiary 4 that contradicts that.

That is probably what I should use then for the max age. That page also says that they are abandoned after 2-3 years. So would you consider them to enter adulthood at that age?
I had them roll based on Paizo's random starting age chart. So I'm trying to figure out what age do I add the roll to.

I'd probably classify them as adolescents after 2-3 years, and they'd enter the phase where "Younger selkies then form packs with others of their kind until they can strike out on their own." Add another two years for that, and have them reach adulthood at 5 years. That gives them enough time learn to be "brutal" predators and to develop the point of view that makes it okay for them to lure people under the sea to drown. But they're loners, so I wouldn't have them stay as a pack for too long.
So yeah, adult at 5 years. Unless a different number works better for your group.
