From what I can piece together you had a bad headache. Am I right? And if so I hope it's gone by now!

It should be something like "My head doesn't know if it wants to hurt or not", though as I said, what I wrote my not reflect that correctly. I have a mild headache that pops up vanishes every now and then.

I think I'll get some ibuprofen just to try to get rid of it.

Quite well said. But lets stick to AMERICAN English in the future.

Wow. I slept until nearly noon today. On the one hand, this makes the day seem shorter. On the other, I missed a doctor's appointment.

Star Wars: Hand of the Empire

I watched the first few minutes. It looks really good. I'll have to watch more when I'm feeling better. Thanks for posting it!

Still haven't watched it, John. But I will. I love fan-created Star Wars films. There was once, a long time ago, a website called "Atomic" something or another that was almost exclusively fan-created content for just about any sci-fi/sci-fantasy you could think of (any of you remember what I'm talking about?). When Comedy Central bought it they just buried the name and dumped thousands of hours of peoples' hard work and love down the digital crapper. I saw some really good things on that site.

So for me, true story; My local bank is REALLY weird. Yesterday in an attempt to have enough cash to make sure I can a) pay for the lawn guy that MIGHT be coming (though he's just a teenager and only does it sporadically in my view), along with getting a new collar for my dog Rory (one that WON'T come off so belt loop here we go!) and possibly a few groceries while my mom spends part of the week taking care of stuff at our farm in Central PA... and then having to entertain her college room mate who, honestly, I feel like if it hadn't been for luck, would be dead by now.

Anyway, so I went to cash a check that was written out to me along with a check that is from my account. Now my business account has my name listed as one of two primary holders. (My Mom being the other.) I've deposited checks that were NOT in my pet sitting bustiness' name...and never had a problem. But the moment I tried to cash this one check (the one written TO me but not from my account or my bank), the bank teller (who is probably the SLOWEST guy I've ever dealt with) was like "Sorry sir, we can't do that unless you have a personal account." So I was like "Fine. Give me back the check."

Today I had to go back so I could cash another check since the other check wouldn't clear...and I didn't feel the need to deposit it YET (since I get paid at the end of the week IE Friday mostly.) So I got food, I got Rory his new collar and a new flexi-lead (though I might regret that later as it means now they'll want to use the freedom it gives them...)

So yeah...I hope my mom comes home on Thursday...because waiting until Saturday might just be the thing that drives me over the edge, caring for THREE dogs by myself...but we'll see.

God I miss gaming already...and snow. Lots of snow...

Gaming in the snow! Perfect!

I dunno about THAT so much as I'm kind of done walking dogs in the hot sun like every g$&!+%n day...

Also kind of done with dawn always been early. I want it to be light at like...7.

About to clock out. Good night, everyone.

Saw Night Monkey. Fun movie. Scene after the credits is important as it gives light on behavior of one of the characters during the movie.

I've not heard of this film.

Though that's not unusual for me. I'm really not much of a movie buff. I managed a video store several years ago and NEVER took movies home to watch. Almost nothing in a fairly decent collection of films interested me.

There are only two kinds of movies, far as I care.

1. King Kong (tragedy)
2. Planet of the Apes (comedy)

That's a Spiderman: Far From Home in-joke.

OOOOOH. Ok.

Yes, but which version of King Kong?

Wowzers, the whole forum page seems quiet today. Have the Gremlins disappeared everyone?

Hello, everyone!

I have some good news! My mother's colonoscopy exam yesterday had a clean result. No polyps, lesions, or scars. The doctor said that she's good for another ten years. I'm pleased.

That's great news! And reminds me I'm due for one. :(

I may have mentioned this before, I'm too lazy and medicated to look at the moment, but the new album by Myrath, a Tunisian metal band just blows me away. I've been a fan for a long time, but this one, in my opinion, is a masterpiece.

Myrath -- Shelili

I think you mentioned it on the music thread earlier. I started listening to it a bit, but then got sidetracked and had to stop. What I heard initially I liked though.

I typo'd the name of the album, it's "Shehili".

The videos for "Believer", "Dance", and "No Holding Back" all have a groovy sort of Al-Qadim, Arabian Nights vibe. I think the players in my secondary campaign may be heading to the south soon. I mean, it's a caravan! They go places!

I have to admit I'm a huge fan of the Peter Jackson Kong movie. I never liked the original and loathed the 1970's remake. Granted, I've not seen "Kong: Skull Island", which I heard was pretty fun. But IMHO, Jackson's Kong can't be beat for special effects and adventure. I even have the companion book that details all the creatures and many more not seen in the film. I keep it on the same shelf as my Bestiaries.

I knew I should have played the Lottery today... While it wasn't a perfect day (too much rain and thunder), I DID win my 'bet' with my Mom that her nutty and more than a little flakey college roommate (who calls here ALL the damn time..) wouldn't go to our farm in Central PA because she's never driven further than just outside of Columbus (and to our home...)

Granted, I don't like to travel but that's more extreme than even me.

Well to be fair Cal, you're not a 76 year old unmarried woman who, thanks to some poor advice, (along with a personality I would kindly call...annoying), is almost dead broke, still trying to fix up her mom's house...and had her off again on again boyfriend die and come back to life. (At least that's her view on the whole "His heart stopped and then it started again.)

But yeah, she's kind of a trip... that I wouldn't want to wish on anyone. Even Deadpool.

LOL! I know some folks that age (and mine) who are just about as flakey as a box of bran. And I dated a few of them. My dating track record from my reckless youth had some real boxes of cereal in it.

About to clock out. Good night, everyone.

Got to sleep at 2, woke up at 5:30. And I've got a ton of stuff to do today, so I may not get a nap to make up for some of that. Today is jus' gonna be ducky!

How is everyone this morning?

Just wondering, how many of us here use 3PP material? I really like some publishers and use their classes, races, spells, etc pretty regularly. That's one of the reasons I like d20pfsrd over Archives of Nethys, though I have used it as well when something I needed wasn't found on the former. d20 has more 3PP and I really like that.

I don't use it often, thanks to HeroLab becoming so prevalent in our character gen, but I will do it now and then.

I don't use a lot. If someone wants something from 3pp, I will certainly consider it though and weigh it against any Paizo options.

These are the ones used in my campaigns:

Dreamscarred Press: “Ultimate Psionics” and “Path of War”.

Rogue Genius Games: Many new classes, feats, and new spells for all spellcasting classes.

Kobold Publishing: New settings, classes, feats, and magic from “Deep Magic”, “Midgard Adventures”, and “New Paths Compendium”.

Rite Publishing: Primarily new spells and skills expansions

Sandy Petersen Games: “Cthulhu Mythos”: Spells, Monsters, and Sanity rules.
Legendary Games: Mythic Heroes Handbook

Dungeons & Dragons 3.5: Spells and feats converted to the Pathfinder rules.

Constantly. My default position is "if it's on D20PFSRD, it's allowed in my games". I pull from other books and from 3.5 on the regular, and typically allow my players to use 3.5 materials if they have no PF equivalent. And even in games that I limit the 3.5 books a little more, Spell Compendium and Magic Item Compendium are still on my table regardless, along with the 3pp 3.5-era book The Mother of all Treasure Tables.

All the stuff in Cal's list is stuff I would highly recommend, but I MUST add the following:

Alluria Publishing: Cerulean Seas and all expansions (Indigo Ice, Waves of Thought, Azure Abyss, Beasts of the Boundless Blue, Celadon Shores)

A MUST-HAVE for any PF gaming involving underwater activity.

I have the pdf of "Cerulean Seas" but that's it. I would love to have all those in hard copy. The artwork is stunning.
