If you specialize in transmutation as a wizard you get to add stat points to strength, dexterity or constitution. However, you can't split up the points and they count as enhancement bonuses meaning they don't stack with other enhancement bonuses.
Wizards that specialize in wood get a similar bonus that transmuters get except you can apply it to dexterity, constitution or wisdom. But again you can't split it up and it's an enhancement bonus.
Dragon Disciples get boosts to strength, constitution and intelligence but it's specific stats at certain levels.
Those are the only ones I know about. Lore masters can boost their saving throws, but not their stats.

Occultist with a Transmutation implement: "Physical Enhancement (Su): The implement enhances its bearer’s body. When you invest mental focus in the implement, select a physical ability score. The implement grants a +2 temporary enhancement bonus to that physical ability score for every 3 points of mental focus invested in the implement (to a maximum of +2 at 1st level, plus an additional 2 for every 6 occultist levels you possess)."
If you have the mental focus, you can even enhance multiple ability scores by investing mental focus in more than one implement.

If you want to really boost Strength, dragon disciple and the feats Skill Focus/Eldritch Heritage (Abyssal or Orc)/Improved Eldritch Heritage (Strength of the Abyss or Strength of the Beast) can add a total of +10 to a character's Str by 19th level.

If you also take Greater Eldritch Heritage, you can get that +10 by 17th level.

If you don't need the changes to ability scores to be permanent, there are a few other ways:
1) The Threefold Aspect spell gives you a combination of ability score boosts and penalties for up to 24 hours.
2) 10th level in the Evangelist prestige class gives you +4 to any single ability score for minutes per day.
3) A slightly complicated way to get an almost permanent +12 enhancement bonus to strength at 20th level: Become a cleric of Trudd to gain the 4th level spell Mighty Strength. Select the VMC Wizard option to gain the Idealize arcane discovery at 15th level -- this increases the enhancement bonus to an ability score from a spell by +2, or +4 at 20th level. Gain the Mutable Flesh bloodline power of the Shapechanger sorcerer bloodline via the Eldritch Heritage feat chain -- eventually you will be able to make Mighty Strength last for an hour per level.

There's a monk archtype with a capstone that gives +2 to... dex wis and str, I think.
Yes, it's those three stats, and it's the weapon adept from APG.
Wish allows you up to +5 on any score, but it's expensive. Paizo took quite some care to leave no loophole to get the stat increase for free.
But you can get increased permanent enhancement bonuses: Pick up the shapechanger bloodline via Eldritch Heritage and its improved version. At character level 11 you can turn bull's strength etc. into an 1 hour / level spell, 1/day. Now be an arcanist with brown-fur archetype to increase the bonus by +2, and take VMC wizard to pick up the Idealize discovery at character level 15, for another +2 (+4 at character level 20). That's a +10 overall. Extend Spell makes sure the bonus is basically permanent.
It might be more efficient to do that with size bonuses to ability scores, since you can get a +6 enhancement bonus from items anyway.

This is a bit convoluted but its possible for a 17th level Psychic to change bodies so he can up his physical stats.
Mind Swap (Major) lets you swap into the body of another member of your race as an instantaneous effect. You gain their physical stats, but retain all of your mental stats, class, hp (figure in con change), ect. You also gain its natural and automatic abilities of the body but nothing that you actually have to activate.
All in all, not bad. The limiter hits kind of hard...so lets get around that. The plan would be to use Polymorph Any Object on yourself to change your race so you can get the body you prepare. Some people are going to argue that Polymorph spells don't change your creature type. I'll counter with race isn't a creature type either, or are you going to argue that all "magical creature" or all "monsterous humanoid" are the same race?
I would argue that you have to choose a form that one of the listed spells in Polymorph Any Object's list of effects could achieve, and it would have to be permanent to actually make you qualify for "same race".
After that you just need to capture an appropriate target. I'd throw some curses and other conditions to weaken their save, and trap yourself to where you can use psychic abilities so the other creature can't gets its revenge after the mind swap.
And if the GM won't buy Polymorph Any Object for changing race, use a Wish and get the whole thing done in 1 casting, just be prepared to pay at least an additional 10,000 since you're effectively asking for Wish to cast a 9th level spell and change your race. Or Wish for your race to change, but nothing else. Then use Mind Swap (major).
If you can manage it, capturing a Grendel would be rather nice. If you have to resort to a wish, think about grabbing an outsider instead of a monstrous humanoid. Of course trolls are much easier to find, capture and regeneration is nice.
And since this is definitely an evil act, if you don't like they way they look kill them, sculpt corpse to get the appearance you want (and reduce or enlarge size by 1 category) and raise dead before you mind swap.
