In AP book 3, as I was going to print off the maps, I saw that the squares on the first map are 10 foot squares. Do I just use imaginary lines and allow medium creatures to occupy a quarter of a square, or are they limited to one character per square? How do reach and AoO's work? How did Pathfinder address the issue of maps published with 10 foot squares using a rule set designed for 5 foot squares?
*Edit: This is for society play this evening, so RAW matters, as we are not campaign mode.

It's just a presentation thing. The atomic unit of measurement for Pathfinder remains 5' squares, so each of those 10' squares provides a 5' "corner" that a creature can inhabit.
In practice, 10' square scale maps are usually too big for tables, and a GM is often better served by printing or drawing portions of the map where action is taking place.
The last time I printed out 10' square maps I forgot to do this, but it's not too hard to find a graphics program that will overlay a grid on an image for you. Some people will overlay a 5' grid on top of the 10' grid just to make those 5' squares more explicit to players.
How you decide to share the larger context with your players is up to you and how you want to communicate the scene; I have in the past printed out the entire map scaled to fit on one sheet of paper just so the party can kind of see what's going on.

Ok. So I'm printing this map to scale (roughly 48x78) with 2"x2" squares but I'm printing it posterized on letter sized paper like a personally printed map pack. In this instance, using the existing grid, the correct implementation would be to allow 4 medium creatures/PCs to occupy a single preprinted grid as if that "space" were actually comprised of four 1" squares.
Is that correct?
