Hi! I'm planning on applying to a practice challenge in a server I’m participating in, and I was hoping to get some feedback on an item that I was planning on submitting. I've included it below without the necessary bolded words.
Cannibal’s Canines
Aura moderate Transmutation; CL 13th;
Slot Neck; Price 20,160 GP; Weight -
Description
Two humanoid canine teeth hang from a dark red sinewy string that’s slimy with spittle. The wearer gains a primary bite attack that deals 1d8 damage and the grab special attack. If the wearer already had a bite attack before wearing the necklace, the previous bite attack is treated as one size larger in addition to gaining the grab special attack.
Three times per day, whenever the wearer successfully makes a bite attack, they can cause the target to become starving as if affected by feast of ashes, but with a caveat; the target does not get nauseated whenever they try to eat meat from a creature that is the same subtype as they are.
Once per day, the wearer can feast upon a target as part of a coup de grace to heal an amount of damage equal to 10 points per the number of the victim’s hit dice. Any points of healing that goes over the wearer’s maximum is converted to temporary hit dice which disappear after 12 hours. Additionally, the wearer is healed of any status effects as covered by the heal spell. This is an evil act.
Construction
Requirements Craft Wondrous Items, feast of ashes, heal, creator must be evil Cost 10,080 GP
The final word count is 222 words, so I'm good on avoiding the max word count of 250. If anyone has any criticisms or complaints (Underpowered? Overpriced?), please let me know!
Thank you for reading!
