Would anyone see a problem with such an item?
By default, you would end up holding it in your hand, not exactly useful for something you usually strap to your arm.
The intended goal is to be able to conceal the claw up your sleeve, then pop them out wolverine style in the event the jamboree becomes a melee.
Would you allow it?

You might consider buying a Wand of Hide Weapon instead of using the sheaths. Cast it on two adamantine Tekko-Kagi and you are ready to Snikt.

Interesting for occasional use, for sure.
On the plus side, I now have mechanical precedence for the effects of retracting claws with attached clawblade.

Well, "magically invisible" is rather diffrent from "Jaunty walking stick and sharpened hair pins" ensemble currently in effect. The dress is already described as completly concealing her right hand. Was just looking for a way to make that mechanically possible without resorting to magic dohikees on my masterwork weapon.
Concealing, drawing, and equipping worn weapons is all rather nebulous. Just wanted to feel out the general opinions regarding the idea before taking it to my dm.

Bit necroing here because I've been seeking a forearm blade type of weapon and this is closest I can find. But since someone pointed out that it's attached to the forearm, does that mean the hand is free?
There's also no ruling on how long it takes to detach.
Yep, hands free. Counts as a buckler when your not attacking with it though, so would take a penalty on attacks with that hand, etc.
