First of all, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but....

Are there non-RPG/ACG events at PaizoCon?

My SO is not into RPGs, but if there is boardgame action at PaizoCon, I could make a case for going (and I can geek out with Starfinder!).

Thanks in Advance!

There absolutely is! I learned how to play Hanabi two years ago at PaizoCon. The offerings will be more limited, but they also tend to not fill up as fast, so your partner should be able to get into some games.

Plus Steve Jackson Games hopefully will return again this year. They had Some amazing MIBs there ready to show you how to play a few of the games they offer.

My wife comes every year with me (admittedly, we're from Seattle, so the extra cost is pretty much a cat sitter), and she spends most of the time having a pampered weekend at a hotel, and hitting the nearby mall often. (okay, so there's some additional extra costs).

There's always some board games, but not many. If there were more my wife would probably get a badge. I'd love to see more events from Lone Shark Games for their other games, since they're already at the con for ACG.

I do try and run a life drawing session with LJ Stephens called "The Crayon of Vecna." :)
