Hey All,
I'm trying to get a group together to play some Paizo modules (eventually try to do an AP, if all goes well) on a fairly regular basis.
Where/when?
I have 2 young children, so games would start after their bedtime (~6:45pm). Fridays would be best, but open to suggestions. Location is TBD. I'd like to find an equidistant point for all group members, but a public spot in Wyomissing/ Sinking Spring would be the starting point.
Type of players/play style?
This hobby necessitates a sense of humor about the material and oneself, but shouldn't devolve into constant Monty Python/ Dead Alewives quotes. If you can play a ridiculously named character, but deadpan a diplomacy check, we should all be fine.
I shoot for 50/50 mix of roleplay and combat, but often fail in spectacular ways. This game is collaborative storytelling, so group composition will be the better guide. Same goes for rules adhesion/lawyering.
*Not that the game should be "adult," nor anything against you spry future leaders of the world, but as a metric for maturity, players should be adults (18 y/o or older).
Experience?
GM'd Pathfinder for a year or two with lower level players (mostly newbies, never got past level 6). Played TTRPGs off and on for 13+ years now, but slowed down when I moved out here two years ago.
Players of all experience welcome. I can help the less experienced, the more experienced can teach the rest of us.
