FAQ not updated by mistake or reversal of decision?

When the FAQ (linked) for improved familiars item slots first came out, Mike Brock discussed it heavily with the community. One of the things that came from it was a statement that he would add a line to the faq that "familiars may trade their normal feats for Extra Item Slot on a one-for-one basis."(linked)

I checked the faq and noticed that for whatever reason, this update was never made. Was this an oversight or was the decision reversed? Is that option available in PFS?

If not, is there any other way to get the extra item slot feat for familiars in PFS?

I would also like to know the answer to this question.

Hmm

Since the newer ruling has bee made by the Campaign Coordinator (at the time) it is the ruling that takes precedence for PFS play. Right now you can get extra slot this way in PFS.

(It probably should be/have been changed in the FAQ as well though)

Scarab Sages 5/5

Until Tonya posts a reversal or the guide/FAQ specifically reverses the ruling, this ruling stands.

If only there was, like, a forum thread where people could compile a list of, Campaign Clarifications, so that Campaign Leadership could periodically revisit one location and pool those posts into some sort of more official document...

Updating the FAQ is tricky and takes the coordination of several people. We recently did a review of many of the outstanding questions, but need to coordinate getting them updated on the site. Until this happens, the most recent ruling stands.

Thanks Nefreet.

I've copied the OP in that thread.

Thanks Tonya.
