Disciple of the Plague

A disciple of the plague is a knowing and willing spreader of disease, ill health and death, often an astute follower of a Deity of Plague. Some get infected and want to spread their ill over the world in a sick sense of revenge, while others are fanatics trying to get in good graces with their deities.

PREREQUISITES:
BAB +5
Abilities: Any one of
-Bomb
-Sneak attack
-Divine spellcasting
-Arcane spellcasting
Alignment: Any Chaotic or any Evil
Special: Be willingly infected with an incurable disease, or unwillingly infected by three different curable diseases or one incurable disease, having undergone hardships due to this disease.

HIT DIE: D10
SKILL POINTS: 2 + INT mod

Spell progression: levels in Disciple of the Plague count towards levels in a casting class, only for spell progression. If the Disciple has multiple casting classes, choose one per level to which to appoint the spell progression. This also counts for an Alchemists Formulae and her discoveries but NOT her bomb damage or amount of bombs. Likewise, a rogue keeps her rogue trick progression, but not her sneak attack damage.

Inflict: When casting a spell, throwing a bomb or making a sneak attack, a Disciple can choose to add an infection to the damage done. This decreases the damage of said spell by one step (D6 becomes D4, etc.), or the sneak attack or bomb by one D6 (min. 1). The chance of the infection working is 50%. In case of a splash attack (bomb or spell), creatures in the splash squares have a 20% chance to also get inflicted. Options for infections: see below

Resistance: At second level, their continued contact to diseases makes a Disciple nearly immune to them. She does not take any damage or take any penalty from diseases. She can still contract diseases and spread them to others, but is otherwise immune to their effects.

Improved inflict: as inflict but 100% chance, or 50% for creatures in the splash area.

Greater Inflict: as improved inflict but add the Disciple's class level to the class level of the class where the spell/bomb/sneak attack came from to determine the effective caster level.

INFECTIONS:
At first level, the Disciple can use the following infections:
-Diseased: The target vcontracts a disease, as if the disciple had cast Contagion, using either her Disciple of Plague level or the class level of the class that gave the spell/bomb/sneak attack as her caster level, whichever is higher.
-Fatigued: the target is fatigued
-Sickened: The target is sickened for one round per caster level. Caster level is determined as for Diseased

At 2nd level, the Disciple adds the following infections to the list of those that can be selected:
-Dazed, Staggered: The target is dazed or staggered for one round per two caster levels, determined as for Diseased. (min one round)
-Poisoned: The target is poisoned, as if the Disciple had cast poison, using the caster level as determined for Diseased
-Exhausted, Nauseated: The target is Exhausted or nauseated for one round per two caster levels, as determined for Diseased (min one round).

At 3rd level, the Disciple adds the following infections to the list of those that can be selected:
-Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed, Stunned: The target is blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or stunned for one round per two caster levels, adding their Disciple class level and the class level for the class that gave the ability used to determine the caster level.
-Dead: The target acts as if hit by a coup-de-grace for the damage done by the ability. Target must be helpless to be able to choose this infection.
