Hey everyone, I'm continuing in my on and off again quest to clean out my gaming shelves.
I have some great hardcover ElfQuest graphic novels available:

ElfQuest: The Cry from Beyond (Book 7) Hardcover
ElfQuest: Kings of the Broken Wheel (Book 8) Hardcover
Elfquest: Rogue's Challenge (Book 9) Hardcover
Elfquest: The Hidden Years Hardcover
Elfquest: The Secret of Two-Edge Softcover
These are rare, hard to find volumes, and all are in excellent condition!

At one point I had books 1-4, and when I went into the Service I donated them to the local public library (because they had two really beaten volumes 1, 2).
When I went home on leave a year later and stopped by the library to check on them?
"...We sold them because we didn't think they were appropriate reading for our collection..."
...wait. What. The library that hollers about censorship censored my thoughtful donation to the *literature* section (not the porn area!)!!!
Yeah, that still burns.

I'm not surprised... they probably assumed they were light children's fare... until they actually read them. And I'm pretty sure that how characters express themselves would not be considered suitable material for the pre-teen set.

I'm not surprised... they probably assumed they were light children's fare... until they actually read them. And I'm pretty sure that how characters express themselves would not be considered suitable material for the pre-teen set.

Books 1 & 2 (the battered versions the library had!) were *in the adult fiction section* and *were still there*...
