Eberron Revisited

Sorry! My thread is just WAYYYY down there. So I have to start a new one.

The gunslinger thread made me think about which classes go where and how they work in Eberron. The vigilante though is . . . well . . . pure gold. I haven't laughed at a class in a long time. It's put together very well, with a Surgeon General's styled warning. I just had to guffaw.

Tzizimine's conversion was consulted and I didn't agree with some of the design decisions he made. But I agree with most of them.

I did almost all classes except for the Occult Adventures classes (which I'll get to). I have a 26 page document that I can put into InDesign as a pdf at some time. :) Check out the Spoiler below.

APG Classes:
Alchemist: Alchemists are found in Khorvaire and Sarlona. They are mostly found among the gnomes of Zilargo and House Cannith. Some even train in the Arcane Congress and some are found among the Kalashtar and the Inspired. The last being mindchemists and psychonauts. Alchemists don’t use gunpowder, however, they use volatile concoctions for their bombs.

Cavalier: The chivalric orders that cavaliers belong too are peppered by nation. However, there is an exception: House Deneith sponsors two chivalric orders. Aundair: The Order of the Tome; Q’Barra: the Order of the Dragon; Karrnath: The Order of the Lion; House Deneith: The Orders of the Shield and Blue Rose; Thrane: the Order of the Star; Displaced Cyrians: The Order of the Sword; Valenar: The Order of the Cockatrice.

Inquisitor: This class is associated with both the Church of the Silver Flame, and the Path of Inspiration in a very organized fashion. Inquisitors of Eberron’s other faiths are sporadic and unorganized. In the Church of the Silver Flame, the Inquisitor replaces the Exorcist PrC in many aspects (see Ultimate Magic or d20pfsrd for the Exorcist archetype). Inquisitors of the Church of the Silver Flame can belong to any of the sects: including those that follow the whispers of the Dark Flame.

Oracle: The Oracle’s mysteries are described above. Besides this, Oracles are rare in Eberron. One is found in the Church of the Silver Flame. Another is working with the Druid Olian. A few are found in Adar and Riedra.

Summoner: A summoner’s Eidolon can come from any particular plane. Even Dal Quor. Summoners are regarded as either specialist wizards or specialist sorcerers and most can be found in Aundair or Karrnath. The Summoners who fought in the Last War though, were mostly on the side of Aundair or Zilargo; given the Karrnathis’ penchant for Necromancy.

Witch: The Witches of Eberron are mostly found in Droaam, but can be from all over. Few witches fought in the Last War, though. Those that did mostly wanted to be left alone. They wanted to fight the Church of the Silver Flame, who had been hunting witches during the Last War.

This is done for my players and me, exactly. I used Tzizimine's conversion where I could agree with it, and where I couldn't I did my own thing.
