I'd like to meet others from the the list Hoppenskip mentioned, and of my own, but unfortunately the majority live in the USA, and Europe's not next door.

It's funny that you should say that, since the Netherlands is one of the countries that I would love to game in. I've been so impressed with the people that I've met here on the forums who hail from there.

Or you know if I get free time, and I fix the car.
Just not Texas, or Florida, both tried to kill me before, and i fear if I go back they'll finish the job.
Or Vegas, but mostly because I want to remember it as it will be, rather than what it is. Also I don't gamble, care for loud stage shows, buffets, or the desert. :-)

I didn't leave him out on purpose. There are just so many people on the boards I'd like to roll dice with it's hard to remember them all. And you're right, Claxon would be a fun person to game with.

I lurk around the campaign setting thread a lot, and a couple people that seem fun are MMCJawa and Odraude. Also, thecursor, who seems to frequent the Starfinder threads, is quite interesting. Set also seems like great fun to play with.

Everytime I read this thread, something bugs me about it. I hesitated to mention this before because the people participating in the thread are all happy, and because I feel like my saying this will appear like sour grapes. Still... I think I should bring this up since this is an open board.
The same names get mentioned over and over... which can be really affirming for the circle of people who are all telling each other, "I really dig you and your posts." However, it also by design leaves others out in the cold. If your name isn't mentioned, it is easy to feel a little sad and lost.
Maybe instead of a thread that mentions names, we should make a thread talking about the qualities that make someone fun to game with. What makes some of these posters attractive to you?
Humor?
Openness?
Responsiveness?
Originality?
Generosity of spirit?
Or do you just want to date their Avatar?
What do you look for when you are thinking, "Hey, I'd really like to share time with this person?"

For me it's a sense of humor as we sometimes get silly "out of game". Openess, because honesty is important. Originality and generosity of spirit are also very important. And some avatars are danged cute.

I did, I think, point out the whys in my list.
I think many of the same people were repeated is because they are among the most frequent posters and therefore foremost in the minds of many who answered the OP's question.

Yeah, and it's self-perpetuating—when I see a name on this thread, I remember the poster and go, "Oh, yeah, totally." It's part of why I gave up adding to this list and just swapped over to the Compliment thread. It's easier to find nice things to say about a single person than to remember the scores of posters I admire on the Boards.
For my part, I value a sense of humor, a willingness to give a shit about other players' feelings, not being an edgelord (this one is very important), a "team player" mindset, good, creative, attentive, proactive roleplaying, and being willing to put effort into learning the system.
People I would like to play with....sorry if I misspell anybody's name...
I assume you mean game with in RL as you don't PbP correct :-)
I can assure anyone who has not gamed with him that Kretzer is great at a table, he remembers the rules better than I do!
I have played in a lot of games , I would play with anyone here who makes it into a group. A lot of solid to great players on these boards.

There isn't a person here I wouldn't play a game with.
Having grown up in small town middle America and then spending a good amount of my adult life traveling I love meeting new people. :-)
