Hey!
I'm currently in PFS with a character who uses intimidate a lot. He took Bruising Intellect, and so he uses intelligence instead of charisma for intimidate checks. I want to get him a masterwork item, but I'm not sure what would fit best for such an item. The only things I can think of would be a set a tatoos (to make him look scary) or a fancy pair of glasses (to make him look smart, cause bruising intellect).
Do you guys have any good ideas for a masterwork item that could reasonably apply to intimidate checks that are based off of intelligence?

How about a necklace of ears of sentient creatures you've killed, magically preserved of course?
You're thread has inspired me because I will be playing an intimidation focused tyrant antipaladin for Hell's Vengeance soon.
Perhaps tattoos dedicated to Asmodeus, or depict terrible heinous acts happening to people.
Oh, maybe a cloak. But not just any cloak, a cloak that absorb and draws in blood from any creature the wearer damages. And then provides a bonus to intimidation...well that's probably a magic item and not just a masterwork tool. But it sounds bad ass.

It's difficult to come up with something that isn't comparable to just showing up in full plate harness carrying a bared sword or wearing eldritch looking robes and waving bat guano around.
The best reasonable mundane intimidate booster would be blackmail material, though you'd need to acquire it on a per target bases. Maybe a fully stocked dungeon, but I'm not sure even that is scarier than a wizard telling you he prepared Baleful Polymorph this morning.

Does PFS put limitations of any kind on MW tools? Most of the Paizo tools that grant +2 have some kind of mitigating factor, such as having a limited number of uses, only good for certain uses of a skill, only in a certain city, etc.
The current rule is to use common sense. If you come up with your own tool, I would include limitations in line with published tools.
I have war beads that apply only to Dazzling Display and a rhyming dictionary for Perform(oratory) to inspire a group or crowd.
