If you don't want one, you're not fully human...I have 3 cats (none of whom are tiny anymore), and a chain shirt and (entirely separate) coif.
I confess, I have never seen cause to put any combination of the two together.
I have frequently had cause to combine LRP armour and cats. Every time we need to give Ninjadeathkitty a pill out come the reinforced leather gloves and coat, as that's the only way to avoid bloodshed.

To be honest, I have used some of my sparring and Ren gear for this same purpose, plus a little cat battering of the leather adds to the look :)
