Well I think all this injury talk jinxed me... I have torn a tendon in my elbow. I can barely even hold my gun now, forget accuracy if I fired it I would drop it.How did you tear it?
I would love to say it was doing something cool... but no. I was in a hurry and didn't check a bags weight before lifting it from the cart with one hand... Some nameless cad had added a box of coin into what should have been a currency bag. So it weighed a LOT more than I was expecting and my arm bent in an unnatural way before I had the good sense to drop it to the floor. Where it impacted with the sound of shattering coin rolls. I would feel guilty about pulling a "manager" and delegating someone to count and reroll all that coin, but I was injured so I had a good excuse.
I suppose it could have been worse; I could have dropped it on my foot and broken that too.
Am I delirious with pain or did I dress with my clothes inside out?

I slept for 8 hours. I have coffee. I have an appointment to get my (9) nails done and am going to ask if they can wash my freaking hair because I can't do it well. I have a gift card for a department store and may get my first brand new clothes in a year or so.

Woken up by a phone call from my mother. She finally forced dad to visit doctor because of health issues and the doctor sent him to hospital because he either had heart attack or was having one during the visit... Waiting for further information from mom once he gets through tests and all.

Ugh. Really hope it wasn't a heart attack, but I'm glad it sounds like he got prompt treatment for it. Hoping for the best here.

At the moment he is in hospital, waiting for more tests. Doctors applied him IV and some pills - I presume to lower blood pressure and to reduce swelling of his feet that started a few days ago and might be side effect of blood pressure. Or something.

Ah, the feet swelling is a side effect of insufficient blood circulation during heart failure and accumulation of liquid in lower body parts...
