Last shift of my crazy weekend. Midnight will be 32 hours done in two days...

I really hope I don't mess up the CDL test because I am about over these long shifts. That and it seems that summer tourists are already in full effect. It's going to be a long one.

And my uniform is inside out again. I'm too tired to care

*blink*

If that is the doctor's orders, who am I to say no?

They helped me a ton. I heartily recommend them. Feel better!

CH and Treppa, please heal up.

Excellent NPC Drejk. I actually have a specific use for it. Along the border of the Positive Material Plane and the Paraelemental Plane of Mineral lie the Ioun Stone fields. I think Khyzzos would make an excellent guide to a party looking to harvest a few Ioun Geodes.

My long weekend is done. Just a bit of bus wrangling tomorrow and I'm done.

GOOD MORNING TREEFORTNAM!!!!!

Another glorious week opens up before us! The sun rises, the birds chirp, and the monkeys yawn and scratch their nethers!

It is just a wonderful day to be alive. I wait all year for this month. I can literally sense the plants growing. What a glorious time.

John periodically buys big roasts to cook on weekends so he can eat the leftovers all week for lunches. This past week he came back with a big slab of beef. I said, "You know that's a tenderloin, right?" And he said, "Really I don't think so..." He bought it on sale at the restaurant supply store when he was there with a friend who had a membership.

No question, it was a full 6 pound PSMO - the un-butchered slab that contains the filet, chateaubriand, and so on. (I can spot that piece from a mile away.) I rescued it - there was no way I was letting John do whatever he was going to do to it. Today he came home from work with a properly trimmed, medium rare beef tenderloin roast on the table. "Wait, I bought THAT?" Yep. That's why I had to rescue it.

Still have a second tenderloin roast in the fridge and some filet steaks to grill, all carved from that slab. I still have to figure out what to do with the "chain" (fatty portion often ground up or made into Philly Cheese Steaks).

Anyway, delicious roast. But I wish it didn't hurt to swallow it.

This past Friday, the wife and I went to this really nice restaurant for our anniversary. The place is well known for it's "Famous" Pork Chop. It's so big, it comes by itself, with no sides, ribs and all. And it was delicious. Worth every penny. They even make in house apple sauce to go with it.

Hey all,
Sorry to hear about illness and injuries. Get better all!
(QUICKly!) ;)

I spent all last week teching/running a Beauty and the Beast show for CYT (100 kids ages 8-18 all on stage at the same time for the 'Be our Guest' and mob scenes) O_O

Then, was up till 3am with daughter trying to get her to pass an online Spanish test that she (supposedly) did well on all of the practice tests for. (She had 5 days to take this stupid test, and she waits til SUNDAY?!?!?!) :P

Yeah,.... I'm doubtful. And seriously f@#$%^& tired.

Fortunately, so many others also had problems with this test that teacher has given another three days to take it. And. She. Will. <-< >->

Yeah, I'm gonna go mainline coffee and work with my all-day client now.

Hope everyone else has a happy Monday! :)

Peace and stay dry! (Rainstorms on their way here. Again.) :)

Received a piece of election mail today addressed to "The Mallon Family." Yes. Family. Me, my waifu, my 25-year-old son, and our pet mold.

Still not as funny, though, as the period of time when my dad (whose name is Chris) kept getting mail addressed to "Christ."

Yep, it was very good. Me & the 30 others in the audience found it great, although I was a bit surprised to find myself one of the younger ones there.

Sore throat slightly better. Coughing worse.

Well it usually is very rare, but I'd put the median age for the audience in the 50's. (for the under 30 performers).
