Wee Be 'Wampis!

I would like to see the free rpg days do the intro to different countries around the inner sea. There would be thematically correct characters to each nation.

So for Cheliax you would have summon with devil based eidilon, a hellnight aspirant, and perhaps a conjurer wizard focused on summoning devils. Everything would be focused on the flavor of Cheliax.

Osirion would have pahdmet dwarves, archeaologist bards, etc.

Yes no more goblins please, at least for a while.

I would like a standard adventure with the core classes and core races as a true intro to the game. A way to introduce new players to the game.

With that being said, I see more and more of the Free RPG players are regular gamers who are just looking forward to participate in the newest offerings.

I think this is a good idea. The goblin theme makes sense (given Paizo's successful marketing of them) but a continuing series of modules doesn't seem to mesh with free RPG day's goals, in my mind.

Showcasing some of the cool areas of Golarion that don't get lots of love in the main line would both be useful to newcomers and those of us who would like to see some stuff 'around the edges'.

I agree with visiting different countries. Some of the highly thematic settings that translate to the real world are awesome!

Irrisen/Eastern Europe, Osirion/Egypt, etc. Just stuff people can latch onto and find interesting. It makes it relatable.

I believe the intent for Free RPG Day is twofold: a to bring in new players, and b turn those players into customers for the store hosting the event. So I would like to see an introductory adventure that also serves as an intro to the Pathfinder Society (like Master of the Fallen Fortress) and then something cheap, like $5-$10, that new players could buy as their first product.

As Free RPG day comes out 2 months before the new PFS season starts, a preview of that season seems like the best thematically for the adventure offering, or something that ties into the new hardback for that quarter.

my overall idea? What about creating new, re-playable tier 1 season prequel scenarios as the free rpg day offering? combine that with a single, 15 card pack consisting of: face card society NPC's for the upcoming season, an item card or two from the season, and a card that covers "the story so far" for the society. These Season packs might run $5...and those will sell all season to PFS players and GMs.

My idea? I thought the prequel adventure for the We Be Goblins! series (the 4th iteration in the series) was a cool concept. I'd love to see more of those, tied to various APs.

For instance:

Rise of the Runelords spoilers:
If you were to make a similar-style adventure as a prequel for Rise of the Runelords, it could take place IN the town of Sandpoint, as the Late Unpleasantness is happening, climaxing at the fire that consumed the old temple and surrounding buildings. The characters could have a chance to interact with Nualia in some way, as well as her adoptive father, Father Tobyn. If those same characters then graduated with a time-skip scenario to the 1st-level PCs that begin the AP, then they'd certainly have a backstory tied to the town.

EDIT: Oh, and possibly starting just after Sheriff Hemlock stops Chopper and is promoted to town sheriff.
