ED-E is especially hilarious this go around, I took on the vipers hiding by that place on the road by the ant fields almost by Nipton, and I turn around and ED-E is rampaging across the ant fields, he must've taken out 30 ants before he comes strolling back as I'm chucking dynamite at the last two vipers.

Easiest experience points I've ever gotten.

That'll do ED-E, that'll do.

Scarab Sages

Apropos of pronouns (and I can't remember if the game really uses pronouns for ED-E that much), but I always thought that ED-E was female. Granted, a floating metal ball of death and antennae that doesn't speak has little in the way of inherent gender identity, but I always thought of it as a "her".

It's the phallically placed laser, also Eddie was one of the finalist names for our son, and certainly not because of Eddie Vedder, I'm hardly even familiar with his music.

Yeah, that's the ticket...

I don't think the robot is given a gender anywhere in the game (unless I missed some subtitled reference)... which makes sense, because it's a robot.

Until Lonesome Road hit, it wasn't even "Eddie," it was "Eedee-ee.."

I must admit one of the draws of Fallout 4 is the upcoming build your own customized robot DLC, really can't wait for the the game of the ultimate century edition to eventually come out. :-)

one of the drawbacks to often playing with low to no volume is I'm often the last to hear pronunciations, so I often go with my own suppositions. :-)

Oh, no, what I mean is, no one even said the name out loud until Lonesome Road. It was player's choice.

What about all those playbacks he has everywhere, like HELIOS One.

Were those not in the original game?

Curiosity and all. :-)

They're there, but the robot's "name" is never mentioned. It's all Wheatley talking about needing to get the "Eyebot Duraframe" to Navarro.

Touche!

I recommend Bob, Dave or perhaps Stuart. ;)

What if I give Boone the stormtrooper trench coat armor, then I can call him Silent Boone. :-D

I love that you can go around offering all the Mini Boomer kids drugs, maybe later I'll see if I offer enough kids psycho, if the boomers will lose it and just start attacking me. :-)

starts firing into the sky, bangs ED-E into a wall

F@$* you corrupted saves!!!!!!

F@@%. You.

smooths out comically messed up Mohawk

Back to level 5 (from 12) I go...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

ouch, that sucks

I blame the Mini Boomers, if they would've just taken the Psycho I wouldn't be in this mess.

Damn it kids, there's a time and place for anything, and it's called New Vegas. >:-(

G!~+*$n it, I f!++ing hate those s+%$hole vaults.

F%+& you Vault-Tec, f!!* you.

Vault 22 is done, I probably should've destroyed the findings like Keeley wanted to, but doing it now won't bring her back, unless it's as a plant zombie.

let me guess, gas explosions?

No, figured out the gas explosion BS it's the low light, size and claustrophobic isolation of the places.

They're especially annoying in New Vegas because of the otherwise wide open places.

I'm guessing clashing mission priorities, as he's trying for an NCR ending... even though destroying the findings doesn't actually do much to hurt your NCR standing, since OSI is a viper's nest nobody really trusts.

Honestly, I pissed off Keeley cause the b!%$@ locked me in, at that point, I just wanted out.

I might help out Tabitha, since I get to do black mountain again, I'm guessing repairing her robot before going up to her room is the way to go about that.

Not until after work though, sadly.

Also want to free All-American (schedules appointment with Dr Usangi for vault scrounger therapy session) and Thump-Thump from their respective imprisonment.

Yes, robot before freeing Raul- OR entering Tabitha's room.

Kids roped me into taking them to see The Good Dinosaur today, it's in the budget cinema. I know I can buy the DVD but then my wife doesn't get two hours of privacy with the house to herself.

Sometimes we have to take one for those we love.

I'm totally going to try to see how the Tabitha situation unfolds, very excited to see how it all plays out. :-)

Operation Not Murder Tabitha was a rousing success!

I wonder how many other people I can Not Murder. :-)

Who are you and what have you done with Captain Yesterday?

Lots of ways up the mountain, and he's already done indiscriminate slaughter at least twice (I think?).

Reckon he's just trying something new.

Who haven't I indiscriminately slaughtered. :-)

Also somehow succeeded at the monorail mission, despite telling the saboteur I was looking for one.

He didn't set the trap, and I was able to disarm the bomb, it was all great fun, but the kids were expecting me to blow more s~$$ up, so they were disappointed.

Hanging with the Boomers, took care of their Ant problem.

ED-E waited outside.

*Boomer high five!*

There is a No Kill playthru. Hard, but it can be done.

I think I'll be more selective with those I choose not to murder, this is a video game after all. :-)

I helped Jack and Janet find true love.

I think I need to bathe in blood to wash the sap off, s&&~ sticks everywhere. I didn't even lie to anyone, ugh!

Now, where did those fiends go...

Big MT here I come!

A bit under level, but I'm confident I can handle it.

The first time I did it, the narrator made fun of me at the end for blasting thru the main story.

That won't happen this time.

I'm also going tell my brain to f#+@ off, really give it a piece of whatever it is I use instead.

I think I'll go looking for Christine's Sniper rifle next.

So far I've only gone to Higgs village, and gotten swarmed by piece of s*@+ lobotomites, g@$+!$n a!!*++!s.

Thump-Thump has fed well this day.

It's a good thing I came in well stocked on explosives.

Edit: I kind of wish I'd remembered to bring more Stimpaks, but whatever. :-)

Ha! This time I approached the Yangtze Camp from the front, opened the gates and laughed. And then, because a glitch robbed me of Christine's Sniper rifle, I got to do it again.

This rampage is brought to you by Super Heated Saturnite Fist. Once you pop, you can't stop.

Stupid f+*&ing lobotomites, turns out when you don't have a brain, and focus on melee weapons, you run into frag mines for almost no reason at all.

Kinda wish I brought more mines.

Re: Stimpaks - if you get all the parts to the Sink, you can convert almost every plant you pick up into xander roots and broc flowers. That alone makes healing kits. Add an empty syringe, which muggy can convert mugs into syringes and glue, and you get a free stimpak.

Yeah, it's been a real blast this time. I've been figuring out how all the cooking s#@# and everything is.

Thanks for the Stimpaks tip, I did not know that. :-)

A lot better at resource management this time, also made unarmed my fourth tag skill, pushing it up to 40, I'm kind of all over the place with my skills, still got the perk that boosts my skill book bonuses, so been using those more to shore up any weaknesses.

And booze, lots and lots of booze.

Frankly, as far as I'm concerned, my companions are just Liver carriers. :-)

I love the toaster.

I also love my super heated Saturnite Fist.

Next run I'm gonna be Bruce Lee, small frame and super heated death punch ftw!

Ugh! I hate X-8 facility, it's the worst kind of meat grinder. One you have to do repeatedly.

G+!+!%n a&@#%&$ Nightkin, Leucrotta wannabe pieces of s$%*!

X-8?

Coasted through that by judicious use of the Animal Friend perk... doesn't work on the Cyber-Dogs, but the Nightstalkers? Awwww yeah.

Didn't see any Nightstalkers (thanks, knew I was off there), I decimated a good portion of inhabitants outside the buildings when I was tracking down the toaster, and Muggy and others. I have found the road to X-13 however to be paved with Nightstalkers and a++*~%&s (lobotomites)

Last perk I took was the one to reduce weapon strength requirements, hopefully Christine's sniper rifle isn't as shaky now.

Also after all the robot dog maulings, my combat armor is in tatters, will probably switch to doctor Klein's scrubs next go tonight.

Got the stealth armor, spent the extra effort getting the upgrades.

Big MT is taking forever, it's a good thing I learned the flaming uppercut of death. Ammo is no longer the issue it used to be. :-)
