Oh, the White Glove Society... they're... a fun bunch.

They don't like me, and were quite dismissive, but whatever I'm not dressing up just get work from a bunch of jerks in really creepy masks... Well, maybe to get Veronica a hot dress but just this once.

won't actually happen until later

You know, if you play your cards right, you can get them back in oh so many ways...

Scarab Sages

Plus, they've got the best food in the game.

how do you respond to his quest, did you make him a better mechanic or did you have him become the gunslinger he used to be?

I chose the path of the gunslinger for him

Mechanic. My companions don't kill. They hold my stuff and sit quietly while daddy kills the bad guys. Raul reducing my equipment degradation is worth way more than effectively giving him the cowboy perk to me.

...

I've replayed enough to get all endings and all options on all companions.

Help meeeeeeeeeee.

I'm helping Joana right now, helped her get off the s*~+, but then I also helped Cachino thermite the ammo store and can't find the sick pervert.

I f$*$ing hate casinos, except the movie, which is awesome.

Should be up in the VIP lounge I think.

All the rooms look alike in casinos.

I'll figure it out after work.

Caesar is dead!

Same with Benny.

I'll get into it later, but it was a classic rampage. :-)

Last time I killed Caesar, I had a lot of fun. I got everyone pissed at me, ran out the door, hopped over the wall into the arena, counted to 3 (not two, not 4) and tossed a Holy Hand Grenade right back at the door. Went off and killed EVERYONE.

Which is basically the only time those things work. You need cover, because you can't throw them far enough to get out of the blast radius.

Silver Crusade

"Pay unto Caesar"

Always cathartic.

Despite the fact that the camp layout doesn't play well with his skills, I always like to have Boone with me when I pop ol' Caesar...

I Pay onto Caesar... Hot Lead and a Red Glare.

After relieving myself of booty from Mt Zion and not wanting to dick around with more DLC for the moment I decided to advance the main story. And after spending God knows how long in the casinos, I decided it was time for some action.

So, I marched through camp Searchlight (thanks for your mask, Ulysses!), stopped off to blow up some ghouls (gotta use dynamite on something) then went flashing my Mark of Caesar like a big shot, got to the ferry, and took a ride.

When I get to Caesar's camp some a#++!!! says we have to give up our weapons, of course, that's not happening, and immediately pull out Ghost who jacks in darkness (or some other pretentious name for a .45) of course this starts an all out Ballistic Fist brawl, and we all know who wins that battle!

It was right after this I realized it was past noon, grabbed my trusty Red Glare, and it's 256 rockets, and just started marching thru camp firing rockets everywhere! With ED-E and Veronica mopping up any stragglers, surprisingly I didn't hit any slaves.

By the time I'd discovered the shed (and walked by Caesar's tent) I'd gone thru over 50 rockets, when I doubled back to Caesar's tent, I knew things would be sideways in there, so I grabbed Annabelle, three her over my shoulder and went inside.

Now at the time I thought I'd only fired off three missiles when I opened the door and saw the f%&+head a@%&$%~ sitting on his throne with guards grabbing their guns. However after further review of my payload, it was five. Needless to say, I had a lot of body parts to sift thru.

While sifting through the bodies for ammo and sunglasses, who should I see tied up in his tacky as s&~+ suit, Benny!

So I shot him, in the head, with my huge giant rifle, no talking, just one shot.

In hindsight, I should've used one of the many ballistic fists I found and punched his head off.

Oh, well, always next time.

Rampage!!

I also grabbed Benny's suit, I'm going to take it to the cemetery where that a++!$*$ tried to bury me and drop it in the hole.

Yes Man and the gang are taking over, of course not until after I convinced the brotherhood to train me in power armor.

Hoover Dam or bust it would seem...

Taking on the Legion with my army of robots.

The Legate is a bad ass, finally took him out but failed to save afterwards and got gunned down by the NCR General shortly thereafter.

So back to taking in the Legate, next time I won't take the NCR General so lightly (I'll also keep an eye on my health when the s+!@ goes down.

Yeah, part of the problem here is, the story makes it so plain that the NCR is hosed without your help, you don't always stop to think about what they can still do to you.

I honestly, never think of the NCR, they're just there to tell me I can't go in places, which has worked exactly never.

But when you got ten guys all shooting at you, all those little bullets add up.

NCR is the only faction you can join that will allow you to ally with the Brotherhood (aside from Yes Man), so I don't mind siding with them. Even when I go against them with House or Yes Man, I usually have enough good faction status with them to not get in a fight at the end....when I side with Caesar, though, well, you gotta break a few eggs...

Before I left, I did drop Benny's suit into the hole he had me dig for myself.

Greedy a@$+#@#.

I don't mind the NCR, but when you're carving out your own empire in the wastelands of Nevada, then s%** must be dealt with, and Annabelle isn't as reasonable as I am.

We'll see how next play through goes, when I'm Imperator Furiosa. :-)

I'm surprised no one took Imperator Furiosa as an alias, in the spirit of the holidays, and to not confuse people I added a bit, and didn't take the actual Imperator Furiosa.

can anyone guess what movie I finally watched this week. One of the best movies ever.

You'd be amazed what aliases people haven't chosen until you take them yourself.

Here's a goal for you:

Get the Brotherhood, the Enclave Remnants, AND the Great Khans to help you out at Hoover Dam.

I mean, the Boomers are practically required unless you decide to do things on Legion hard mode, but there are some definite contortions involved in getting everybody else to help you out without hacking each other to bits.

I don't think I've run into the enclave.

The Boomers, Brotherhood, and Khans all got my back tho.

You need to help the Followers. The rest will flow from there.

SPECIFICALLY, you need Arcade on your team.

So, is taking out the NCR and Legion at the dam the end? Is there more?

I'm cool either way, I'll just restart and explore more in depth, just curious is all.

When you play Fallout 4, if you name your character "Furiosa" your robot will actually call you by that name.

Yes, the Battle of Hoover Dam is the ending of F:NV. When you are about to trigger the final endgame sequence, the game will very clearly warn you you are about to hit the point of no return--as in, an actual box will pop up saying, "If you go do this now, you will go into the endgame sequence and then the game will end. If you have stuff to do, go do it now, then come back here."

Also, when you do trigger the endgame, the game will autosave, so you will definitely have a savegame right before it, should you decide to go back with the same character and play through other stuff.

Have you not done Old World Blues yet????????

Not yet no, I was curious about the end. No problem with multiple play throughs.

Next time I'm definitely getting weird with it.

when dealing with the Legate I tended to just let my really high speech skill work for me after punching my way to him with the Super Heated Power Fist from Big MT while wearing my Elite Riot Armor

edit: I have also used the sword of the west to battle his sword of the east

Yep.

Speech. In New Vegas, it's pretty game-changing.

so is unarmed with the piercing strike perk and a good weapon only the centurions took more than 1 hit to kill

Can't I just death punch.

RPG Superstar 2015 Top 8

In my endgame, Veronica with a single punch dropped the legate down from full to 4 hp. It was glorious. I should have let her finish him off but I had a clear shot.

I did have Speech, but somehow picked the wrong choices to talk him down. I think watching Veronica crush his face was the better ending.

Furiosa was a sniper. She out-shot Max. You can't make her a boxer. She must be a sniper!

Clearly, I need to watch the movie again.

The scene where she blasted the searchlight in one shot after max misses three times, gets frustrated, and hands her the gun

Yeah that was awesome, it's the robot hand that begs for death punching. :-)

I totally see your point tho, and I do need to watch it again.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Really, any excuse to watch Fury Road again is good enough...

My wife loved Fury Road!

Things have going great so far as Furiosa, I'm 8th level, took Wild Wasteland and the one that increases critical hits at the cost of durability, I have ED-E and Veronica tagging along (who looks silly in a biker helmet) so far we've made it up to the Gun Runners, after clearing out RepConn and helping the Ghouls there crash and burn their rocketships to the moon or Sun or wherever.

Also ED-E f~&~s up Legion goon squads something fierce!

Oh, yes I'm going for more of a balance between guns and explosives and I got the companions way earlier so I've been making way more bank with the extra carrying capacity.

So far I'm a big fan of That Gun, I sniped all the Ghouls outside RepConn with it from atop a ledge, the difficulty of which, made it all the more epic, didn't use VATS at all for that one (or chems).

I think once I get to 10th level I'll go see what all the hubbub is about at the old drive in, it recommends 15th but I think I can take it at 10th.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Did Dead Money starting at level 4 the other day...

Their level recommendations, I think, assume that you haven't been dumping all of your points into the non-combat skills involved in getting sweet, sweet lootz.

In fairness, that's kinda what I've been doing this time, tho I'm starting to really ramp up my guns and explosives, but even those two are at 40-45, whereas, my pick lock is up to 70 and my science and medical are around 35-40

Old world blues is really for melees and energy weapons. The loot for guns and explosives kinda sucks. The armor is lame, and the dog gun looks cool by is weak.

Elijah's LAER is bad@ss, though, and the proton inversal axe makes robots worthless against you.
