Let's say I have a couple of GM chronicles.
Do I need to apply them in the order I mastered them?
Imagine, you have a 1.1 character.
You have chronicles for tier 1,1-2,1.
If I have to apply them in order, I could not apply the last one, since the char would be level 2 already. If I could apply them 1,1,1-2 it would be fine.
How is this handled?

It lets you have control on the order in which you apply the chronicles. If you want to apply a specific chronicle at a certain tier you can just wait and take credit later.

also, if the chronicle is actually for a higher tier - for example a Mod such as Emerald Spire #3 Splinterden is for Tier (2-4), it is not applied until the PC reaches that level... in this case, if you put Splinterden on a 1st level PC, it would not be applied to the PC until it reached 2nd level, and would be "out of order" by play-dates.
So you would have played/ran them: 1, 1, 2, 1
but they would be applied: 1, 1, 1, 2
and the PC would be 3rd level next time you played him.
