I'm playing WotR Kyra in Season of the Righteous, and I am dismayed by the number of fiends in adventure deck 5. (Not to mention that the only demon henchman is the servitor.)
I've never played the RPG, so I'm not familiar with this. But I thought fiends were from Hell, and demons from the Abyss. If we are entering the Abyss, why are there so many fiends?

Devils come from hell. Demons come from the Abyss. Fiend is a term that encompasses both, kinda refers to evil outsiders in a more general sense.

Kyra is very well equipped to fight the villains in AD5, but the spread of henchmen is a bit trickier, it's true, and monsters are a bit more even odds.
The RPG adventure contains a large number of fiendish / half-fiendish (template) creatures, as well as a bunch of demodands, which unfortunately are not strictly speaking demons.

8 out of the 12 new monsters are undead or demons. 5 of the 6 villains are undead or demons. Kyra will have plenty of targets
