Here are my questions regarding the scenario
After encountering a Ulkreth henchman the scenario card instructs to close it's location.
1. Does that mean the location is automatically closed skipping the when closing section of the location card, and just triggering the when permanently closed step?
2.Does the location close just based on encountering the henchman, meaning you don't have to defeat the henchman in order for it to close?
When Khorramzeadeh is revealed from the blessings deck, a random open or closed location is determined, if characters are there they move are dealt fire damage.
3.Is this the correct interpretation?

1. Yes, the location is automatically closed after the Ulkreth encounter. No "On Closing" but yes to "When Permanently Closed." This represents the Ulkreth demons destroying the city of Kenabres, building by building.
2. Correct, this isn't meant to be a "the heroes defeat the invading army" story. It's a "the heroes barely survive running from the invading army" story. I recommend donning your scale mail and not worrying about defeating the megademons, just survive them.
3. We played as Korramzadeh only targeting a random open location. Your interpretation seems much easier :)

2. Yes, you don't have to win.
3. It says "random location" - so, yes, it can pick closed locations. If it wanted to pick open locations only, it would say "random open location."
Fair questions. I noticed after playing this the first time that Ulkreth demons don't have the "allow an attempt to close" after defeating them power like most henchmen do (not a requirement), so I wasn't sure if it was just adding that typical henchmen feature. Thanks for the story clarification.
