Which monsters are you most looking forward to seeing in a set?
For me:
1. Owlbear - I need it. Horned owlbear from the artwork for our poor unlucky owlbear. On all fours, none of that standing on hind legs stuff.
2. Peri - from the moment I saw the art work, with the flaming peacock eye wings I wanted this mini. Badly.
3. Proteans - Any and alll
4. Bandersnatch
5. Linnorms
6. Cecaelia
7. Sprite - I need this for a character. Have no idea if they can actually pull it off since it's diminutive.
8. Azatas (All) - Yes especially the pretty male Azatas. There's little enough girl-bate in RPGland anyway.
9. Merfolk
10. Nixie
11. Blink Dog

Also not a monster, but RED MANTIS ASSASSINS. Seriously. :)
Not sure why, but it does not bug me they have not done a Red mantis yet. Maybe because I have not needed one yet. I bet once I do I will wish I had one. LOL
They have hit my favorites so at this point I am looking forward to unusual monster. Odd or variations would be nice.

Bestiary 2:
I'd love to see what they do with the brijidine azata.
Some daemons - maybe a leukodaemon.
B2 elementals.
A keketar protean would be awesome - plus, with Unchained, we'll need eidolon minis for more outsider types.
Qlippoth - nyogoth especially.
A scylla would be nice.
They're way too big, but I love the titans. especially the Elysian.

Bestiary 3! (Yes, I am doing all of them.)
Alraune, for any Castlevania lovers.
Legion archons are awesome-looking.
Cerberi.
Divs! Aghash and shira especially.
Girtablilu.
Jorogumo, if they can do it well.
Kyton interlocutor would be useful.
Lunar naga. Love me some naga...
The peri are indeed lovely. :)
Rusalka (especially the Fey Revisited art with the sword).
Shae - corset and all. :)
A tophet would be useful as well.
Jiang-shi, maybe.
Yuki-onna.

Bestiary 4 gets weird...
I do kind of want a changeling in the dancing pose - B4/CC or ARG art.
An erlking would actually be really cool.
I think I could be okay with a bunch of formians. Not just one though...
Am I weird for wanting a fungal nymph?
Gallowdead looks awesome.
I don't know when I'd use a King in Yellow, but...
Harionago.
Kitsune - I think the B4 art would make a good mini.
I'd like to see how they'd do an oceanid - I foresee clear plastic being used very interestingly.

Merfolk. Never been done in prepainted 1".
Not quite true. Dungeon Crawler Fantasy Miniatures has done a 25 mm scale Mermaid (2 different paint jobs) but as far as I know, no one has done a Merman (or Triton, or Locathah, or Hai Nu, or Nigyo, or Pah'ri, or Irish Merrow, or pretty much any aquatic race but Sahuaghin, Kuo-toa, and Skum). Over all there is a decided lack of aquatic minis in pre-painted plastic.

I'm kind of getting what I wanted in dungeons deep. I got the Shamhazian I always wanted last set. I'm getting my gargantuan red, Mi-go, elder thing, pickled punk, gnolls, a proper mimic.
If I'm wishing I'd say Frogemoth case incentive, aboleth, pit fiend, dark young, female hill giant, female fire giant, gremlins, more hobgoblins, a large and small duergar, a large and small spriggan. Oh hell the list is too long

• Proteans - we haven't had any yet, and they're unique to Pathfinder.
• a huge Wicker Man - or even a colossal with a space for a medium mini in it's interior.
• a cow - we have goats and pigs, how about a cow?
• a small dog and a tiny cat - familiars, pets, strays i the city... they come up.
• a colossal Purple Worm - bursting out of the ground, or maybe coiled on the surface showing his tail.
• a huge Froghemoth - they've been coming up a lot lately in Paizo and 3PP.
• a large Giant Frog - again, it happens
• spell effects, like Wall of Fire and Wall of Ice - could be used as props too, especially the fire. A nive "fire" mini would also be helpful for playing out burning buildings and forest fires.

Seconded for the following:
-Azata (A Bralani in mid-whirlwind and a Ghaele would be nice)
-Daemons (Leukodaemon)
-Proteans (Naunet, Imentesh)
-Qlippoth (Nyogoth and Chernobue)
-More Aquatic love (Merfolk, Large Giant Octopus)
Except for the Azata and merfolk (which look like elves miniature-wise), none off the above have ever had any representation in plastic form.
I wish Huge wasn't such a tricky spot to get into a set. I would almost always take two readily usable miniatures (like Elementals, Aboleth, Froghemoth) over one awesome gargantuan miniature (which as awesome as they are, rarely see play except maybe once an AP.)

I spoke briefly with Erik at Gen Con in regards to the Huge issue and the news wasn't good. He re-confirmed we shouldn't expect any encounter packs or sets (like Rise of the Runelords) sold with Huges.
He did say, and what you are suggesting, is that the best case scenario in getting huges is replacing the Gagantuan promo on the sporadic set with two huges.
I am ok with that, myself, as there are so many great huges out there we haven't been able to see yet. The elementals being first and foremost.

What was the reason they couldn't include them with the normal packs at a slightly higher price point like Giants of Legend and Lords of Madness in the old D&D minis line?
What Erik indicated, it is pretty much what Kalindlara said, and that's the demand isn't there (sadly). The huges, whether through encounter packs or the additional huges added onto the set (like RotRL), just don't sell. Same with the horde sets (which Erik also said not to expect to see again).
What was nice to hear that Erik did confirm that the PFB line overall (the main sets) is doing extremely well. I will admit, I did wonder how well the line has done, but it appears to be going strong, which is a good thing. I just wish there was a realistic (profitable) way to consistently release huge minis, as well.
Edit: Oh, and the other thing I wanted to add is I did ask Erik about the somewhat consistent issue of humanoid faces not being painted as well. He nodded his head immediately (acknowledging) and seemed very frustrated about it, and said that they are going to try and move more of them to rare slots.
I asked him if rares had better attention paid to them, and he said yes. That is something I was not aware of, myself. But he indicated because they have more time to spend on them since there are less of them to paint.

I get that the alternative ways such as encounter packs and separate huge add-ons didn't work. Hence why my question was referring to the old way things worked in the original DDM line. Though I could easily see Kalindlara's explanation beinf the reason.
Do we have any sort confirmation that War of the Dragon Queen, Against the Giants, and such huge sets in the old DDM didn't make enough money to justify their cost?

Well, I'm sure Erik and Wizkids have plenty of data that we might not have access to. ^_^
My guess, though, is that the costs have increased since the days of WotC's internal minis line. Chinese labor isn't quite as cheap these days. The quality of the Pathfinder Battles line is higher as well.

Well, I did say the reason was because the huge minis just didn't sell, which is one in the same in being 'unprofitable'. So yes, as Kalindlara had also indicated.
As for the old DDM lines, if you remember, the quality of the PPM went down as the line got further along. A lot of that having to do with the mounting cost, which has been said more than once (and by Erik) that PPM are more expensive, much more expensive now, to produce.
If you remember, a booster box of DDM was only $8.99, and that was for eight miniatures. Now, you get four minis with the price almost doubled. So yes, much more expensive.
If I remember correctly, with War of the Dragon Queen, a booster box being around $20 for one huge and 4 medium/small sized minis. For something like that now, it probably would be at least $35 for one booster box, and you'd probably only get the huge mini or one medium, if you are lucky. There would be very little people that would be willing to pay that kind of money. And almost no one willing to pay for a case of it.

Spiders! There haven't been any proper spider miniatures since the Heroes & Monsters set, and the Large one was rare. How about a Medium common and a Large uncommon? Same deal for a couple scorpions, how about? I love me some creepy-crawlies.
Also, not a monster, but...well, we got the Gnoll Slaver. How about a slave? I don't need multiple Serving Girls and Dancing Girls - why are those common?! - but I wouldn't mind a handful of slaves. A filthy, beaten slave in ratty, tattered rags and chains. It'll be one of the few times that heavy-handed use of dark wash won't be totally inappropriate.
Beyond that, I really just want more rank and file monsters: skeletons, orcs, serpentfolk, bugbears, lizardmen, zombies, ogres (three phenomenal ones back in Rise of the Runelords but none since?), trolls, giants...all the stuff that fits into common and uncommon slots.

not monsters but minis I could use more of:
Animal companions - at a range of sizes/ages (i.e. smalls, mediums, larges or bigger ideally sold in matched sets for players to use over a character's history (larger sizes for Animal Growth casts..)
small PC races in non-stereotypical garbs - i.e. something other than just a Gnome Illusionist and preferably in both male and female forms (again for PC's but also for NPCs). Gnomes in particular I have very few examples of but that's true as well for all non-monstrous small races (have a lot of goblins and kobolds)
Wild shape forms - near infinite variety to be sure, but some of the basics are also animal companion options (see above) but others like elemental and plant forms are mini's that most GMs don't have nearly enough examples of as well ( I have some great fire elementals in a variety of sizes but don't have most other elemental types)
Familiars - here's a case where if mini's for them were more common we (players and GMs alike) might remember that they are present far more frequently (for AoE spells, initiative etc)
"Generic NPCs" - I have a few (from the bones set) of villagers. Used these at Gencon and just putting a few "regular" villagers in a scene helped the Players remember that villagers were around and toned down some murderhobo tendencies. I tend to use markers for same random npcs in say a tavern scene - but having more fleshed out figures is always nice.
And one other item - as a GM I find myself often using different minis even if not the "right" type to represent each of a set of enemies to help me keep track of which enemy has acted, taken damage etc. (I know there are some people who make numbered markers to attach to mini's but so far I haven't found any. So another thing which is always appreciated is to vary up figures even if you are reprinting a given sculpture (so say not all skeletons look exactly alike)

I use these little fitted bases from Dapper Devil. Picked up a bunch at a con. Very nice.

They can't do the dark young, I suspect - unlike the OGL monsters, which are permitted as long as they don't use the names (or reprint the entire OGL in every pack), I suspect that even the image of the Dark Young is Chaosium's copyright. Same goes for Coeurl. :)
The Coeurl is a given, since it was only ever used with the original author's permission and then it was a one time deal. Not sure on the Dark Young however, Reaper's most recent Bones KS has one in one of the expansions, and they are fairly scrupulous about including logos for licensed products (Pathfinder in Bones KS I, II, and III; Savage Worlds in II and III, and Numenera in II, plus one or two others, yet there is no Chaosium of Call of Cthulhu logo to be found on the KS) nor was their a disclaimer on Impact! Miniatures Chibi mythos minis, and in the wake of a couple C&D letters from WoTC, they too are fairly scrupulous about copyrighted material. I suspect that it might just boil down to impracticality and limited utility os such a mini (though I'd totally be down for it, I put in for the Mythos set in the Bones 3 KS, but A) I won't see those until next September, and B) I am lazy and use pre-paints when I can so I don't have to paint my own.
