What's the best pre-written adventure?

Gamer Life General Discussion

There are tons of adventure paths out there, by Paizo, WoTC, and countless 3pp one-shots and full adventures. 3.x and PF are close enough to each other that I count them as the same. I don't care the type, be it high fantasy, horror, noir, sci-fi, etc.

Out of ALL of them, which ones do you think are in the top 5, and why?

I am sure there are a lot that were never put to paper.

The Exchange

Age of Worms for number 1 - Purely because it was one I really got a feel for when DMing the game and we ran it in Eberron, my favourite setting.

Zeitgeist by EN games for number 2 - Steam punk and again running it in Eberron. A great tale and some very good encounters.

Carrion Crown at number 3 - Im currently running this one and the horror in it is fantastic. I actually scare my players running this game, not just their PC's. At the rate its going it may well jump to the number one spot when we finally finish it.

Everything else I've read or played kind of falls into the same category so not going to rank them against each other. I like the story in Wrath of the Righteous and Iron Gods but haven't run them to see how they play out in the game.
