So what are some 1st level character modules that I should be looking to either buy or play in..

Seems every group out here is running higher level stuff.

Hard to jump in at first level.

Do you know the Difference between PFS Scenarios and Modules?

If there is a distinction! no not really, still trying to learn the ropes on intergrating into the society.

Got my id etc.. haven't made up a pc yet to register it with the society.

But just wanted to know what the first step in the road to adventuring.

There is a gaming site im on that have their own chapter, but they also seem to run higher stuff and its first come first served muster based.

Silver Crusade 3/5 *

Master of the Fallen Fortress is a good starter module. Plus, it's free!

Thanks Paz! So I have just seen you can register or three things.
a PFS character! a Core character and a card game character.

I understand the reasoning for the first but when the Core and Card game characters?

(OK, that momentarily confused me...)

Good scenarios to look out for (or request) for a starting character are:
#5–08: The Confirmation
#6–10: The Wounded Wisp
Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore

But really you should be OK signing up for pretty much any scenario that's marked as 'tier 1–5' or 'for levels 1–5'. There are a couple that are very tough for starting PCs, but they're the exception rather than the rule.

Core is an alternate version of Society play where you are only allowed to use the Core Rulebook (and the Society web enhancement, afaik) to construct your character. If you're making a character for normal Society play, just register them under PFS.

The card game registration is for the Pathfinder Card Game Organized Play campaign.

The Adventure Card Game is another product that uses Class decks in a card game that has a Pathfinder theme. From what I hear, it is a good product and fun run through.

Core is a new campaign mode that only uses the Core Rule Book (CRB), the Guide to Organized Play and the Traits PFD that can be gotten from the web site. There are two other blogs that allows a fair amount of languages from The Inner Sea Guide and guidelines on casters gaining spells from other sources (from spellbooks, scrolls and the like from the scernarios)

The PFS Character is the normal campaign.
