New player, please help!

Right now I'm just doing solo play with the Skull & Shackles Base Set. I chose Jirelle as my character and she doesn't have the craft skill and I've come to the point where I need to repair my ship. It says craft 6 to repair my ship, so what do I do?

If a skill isn't listed on your character's card, you use a d4. You can still add dice and bonuses if you have cards to do so.
