It wasn't until Inner Sea WG that we learned what kinda logo the Aspis even used. We still need a proper picture even today.

Well, it is the Aspis consortium.

In my experience, any time the GM so much as breathes a word about possible rival NPCs the snakes are the first suspect, so...

Also, in part I there were also Aspis. Kinda obvious, isn't it?

We in fact have a picture of the Aspis logo.

I can see the sihedron, but what is the bird supposed to be?

I've heard both 'Ruby Phoenix' and 'Peacock'.

Given the events of the Sky Key Solution (no spoilers here) there may be things related to it in future adventures?

Just my gut feeling?

I GMed this today. My players groaned when I said there was a chase, but they really liked the new system. Keep on doing that! I was thinking about the chase, and normally you get a -2 penalty when you move less than 30 feet, but I thought that since you move as a group, that gets negated. Otherwise everyone would have to match the slowest speed, and then everyone takes that penalty, which isn't fun.

Also, this was a pretty short scenario. Normally I'm pretty good at filling up a five-hour timeslot, but now I was done in 3.5 hours. I could've roleplayed the Gripplis a bit more, but honestly that isn't really my strongest suit. There's enough combat, I feel, but somehow it's noticeably shorter than other scenarios I've run, even the relatively easy season 0 ones. There's a few skill challenges at the start, a quick battle with a swarm (Flurry of Snowballs finished it in the first round of combat), a pretty straightforward slapfight with some lizardmen, the final encounter, and the chase, which takes up about half a regular combat's worth of time. That's still about four combats worth of time. I'm wondering where the rest of my time went. Even the most straightforward dungeon crawls, where the modus operandi is "I open a door, I fight. Repeat," those usually manage to fit in 4-5 fights in the same amount of time. My players really liked the scenario, so I'm not complaining, just wondering aloud.

I think it's because this is such a fast-moving chase, it speed up the entire scenario. I mean, it counts for a full encounter's worth daily resource spending, but you do that in much less RL time. When I played it I really liked it, but felt is was done too soon as well.

A minor nit-pick: I noticed that Fiveknives Kalim (the art actually portrays five knives on his persona, kudos!) casts Bull's strength and Bear's endurance on himself in higher tier even though he doesn't have the latter in his repertoire. I'm guessing he is supposed to have Bear's endurance instead of Cat's grace on his spells known?

Coming into this thread late. Great ideas here for the chase.

I am running this next weekend and I noticed the same thing FranKc did and I see it was not addressed in the thread. I am guessing FranKc was correct and adjusted his stat block accordingly.
