Ha! I saw someone today with the last name of Stonebear. Apparently my entire Company, Stone Bear Clan, is being impersonated! Can't blame them. It's hard to not look in awe at a pack of wild barbarians running through the woods. Or, more likely, you can't look away.
Loud and clear Vhane'Sylvan. Kill the fake Nihimons. I got ya. ;)
I saw a Nihimon gathering the other day. I jumped, and waved, and ran in circles...all my normal stuff...but didn't even get a hello.
Edit - After a snark hello or two from some "Alphas" I figured something was up (and seriously people, Chaotic Snarky is _my_ job). It wasn't until a necro post from Hobs the Short came up that I figured out what the snark was about. Proper Halflings would never quibble over such a thing (it's always some elf...). I seriously doubt he is part of the Fiffledown clan, but we could be long lost cousins.

Was that at one of those random weird stone circles with a single un-clickable green crystal inside (similar to the tower green crystals except just the one crystal) ?
I wondered about those.
So they are something to do with some weird Nihimon cult ?
@Neadenil - Nope, just out in the woods. The circles I mentioned running around in, that's just how I run. Got this one short leg...

I just want to let everyone know that my name in-game is Nihimon Vhane'Sylvan.
It has come to my attention that there might be some folks running around with names that look a little like Nihimon, and I wanted everyone to know that's not me.
Sure, and we're supposed to just believe that you're the real Nihimon.

If you see someone named Kobold Cleaver ingame, let me know. There is an alternate version of myself from the future that has been attacking me at various points in time over the last five years. I killed him on the second attempt, but his pattern isn't linear and he's still after me.
I'm sure it'll just be an imposter, but can't be too careful. If you can get a real-life address from him, that'd be even better.
Or maybe this is just an elaborate story to trick you into giving away the real-life locations of imposters so I can exact disproportionate retribution for such disrespect. Or maybe I've spent too long in the smurfshrooms. Or maybe I need to get more than 3.5 hours of sleep per weeknight.

Seriously, impersonating should be allowed so long as it is tied to the bluff skill and the player has a "real" name, and can only impersonate using an alias. But that is a thread de-rail if ever I saw one :)

We need Maxwell Smart style Bluff situations:
Maxwell Smart: I think it's only fair to warn you, this facility is surrounded by a highly trained team of 130 Black Op Snipers.
Siegfried: I don't believe you.
Maxwell Smart: Would you believe two dozen Delta Force Commandos?
Siegfried: No.
Maxwell Smart: How about Chuck Norris with a BB gun?

Surprising choice, Being in EE and all, you should have gone for the shorter name instead of adding a second part.
Difficult to impersonate a character with a single name, far easier to go when you can re-use the firstname and just slightly misspell the lastname that no one will correctly remember.Signed Nihimon Vhone'Sylven
