I did the same thing he would have done. And I would forgive him for doing it. So you voted for him? No he sat down and in an honest way broke down the strengths and weaknesses of each submission and came to a logical conclusion as to which one was truly better without regard to whom the author was... In fairness, it was a hard call. But I knew Jacob would forgive me. He knows I really like his [redacted].
And suddenly I see the exact same item four times in a row, paired against different items. This algorithm is weird.
Well, it's one of my keepers, so have four votes.

It's probably been mentioned somewhere on this thread already, but I just saw my first " for ' typo after a numeral. Kind of diminishes the effectiveness of the item!
Ahhh item. I keep seeing you. You have a misspelling in your description but I keep voting for you anyway. I bet your designer is upset at themselves for the misspelling, but hopefully they don't beat themselves up too badly. Because you're interesting and make me smile. Have another vote.

Real talk, there is a weapon that I love because I can immediately see it being used if I were to create a Pathfinder version one of my favorite cartoon characters. The effects are very simple, but the flavor text is superb.
Still in search of one item I really want to see.
In the meantime, enjoying the votes.
2 weak keeps which will win!

Teleport item vs teleport item
Earlier I had alchemist item vs alchemist item.
Gary, are you sitting by the server's console chuckling at our feeble attempts to vote?
Oh man, I haven't seen this since day 1 of voting and it was the first item on my keep list. Yep. It's still awesome.
I've gotten a string of bard items this evening. No pun intended.

I did the same thing he would have done. And I would forgive him for doing it. So you voted for him? hangs head in shame. No man, it was your item, to add insult to injury. But yours came up again the next pairing, so I voted for it then. :-) This is definitely NOT what I would have done!
Tough vote: Two items that both break rules I don't think should be broken.
The timeless tale of the forest v. the undead. Who shall win?
I just had 2 items I couldn't decide which I liked more. The deciding factor was a single comma italicized in the requirements.

I'm playing in a campaign with a Foehammer. (Dwarf-specific fighter archetype specializing in hammers.) Whenever I see an Earthbreaker, I judge it by whether that Foehammer would love it, or if it just does things that are already part of his class abilities. (It's about 50/50)
Because if your awesome hammer is redundant for a hammer specialist...there's not much point.

BOOYAH! Just saw the last item needed to re-confirm all 352 items post-cull! :D
Going to keep watching in case anything else is out there, but at this point it seems unlikely.

You're right, you would have voted for mine in the first place because it is clearly better and thus you would have no guilt ;-)

Since you've seen all the items, you're responsible for predicting the top 32 accurately. ;-)

Right! With nearly one third of the items in my keep file culled? Trying to get a read on a large group of gamers is harder than herding cats.
I'm seeing way more rods then I'm comfortable with
Two decent items with terrible names.
There's a shield and a weapon that would be quite something to see if paired together.
Bugs attacking vs. Bugs defending.

sigh I am somewhere deep in the over 2500 votes but I don't keep track, so I have no idea where I am, but now I feel driven to get to Champion.

Now I see a suit of armor that would go perfect with that shield and weapon from earlier.

My latest voting game is trying to guess which item was written by which person on the boards. It is making me look forward to the top 32 and critique threads for the reveals. :)
And if nothing else, if I just guess "Jacob" I have a higher chance of being right.

Is it okay to talk about stuff and reveal authorship after voting closes, or do we have to wait until the results are revealed?

Item on the left specifically says it crushes item on the right.
Hmmm, I'll be the judge of that.

Cleanthes wrote: Is it okay to talk about stuff and reveal authorship after voting closes, or do we have to wait until the results are revealed? I'm guessing we have to wait until the results are revealed so that it's still anonymous to the judges. So once the critique thread is live, you're good to go. (Or if you make the top 32, it gets revealed for you!)
