I did the same thing he would have done. And I would forgive him for doing it.
In fairness, it was a hard call. But I knew Jacob would forgive me. He knows I really like his [redacted].
And suddenly I see the exact same item four times in a row, paired against different items. This algorithm is weird.
Well, it's one of my keepers, so have four votes.

It's probably been mentioned somewhere on this thread already, but I just saw my first " for ' typo after a numeral. Kind of diminishes the effectiveness of the item!

I suspect that you give a fair number of submitters who are prone to typos hope.

Real talk, there is a weapon that I love because I can immediately see it being used if I were to create a Pathfinder version one of my favorite cartoon characters. The effects are very simple, but the flavor text is superb.
2 weak keeps which will win!

I want to see all the Earthbreakers in the competition in a Thunder Dome style gameplay against one another. Use one character build, with the different weapons, and just dice it out and see who emerges triumphant.
Funny thing about Earthbreakers...
I'm playing in a campaign with a Foehammer. (Dwarf-specific fighter archetype specializing in hammers.) Whenever I see an Earthbreaker, I judge it by whether that Foehammer would love it, or if it just does things that are already part of his class abilities. (It's about 50/50)
Because if your awesome hammer is redundant for a hammer specialist...there's not much point.
I just had 2 items I couldn't decide which I liked more. The deciding factor was a single comma italicized in the requirements.
Aw man I know I lazy bbc coded all my commas between spells in italics...

Right! With nearly one third of the items in my keep file culled? Trying to get a read on a large group of gamers is harder than herding cats.

My latest voting game is trying to guess which item was written by which person on the boards. It is making me look forward to the top 32 and critique threads for the reveals. :)
And if nothing else, if I just guess "Jacob" I have a higher chance of being right.

Now here's a perfect storm on hard mode - can you assemble a Top 32 of items from all different types and slots, to be wielded and worn by a single character to epitomize a single theme...?
Is it okay to talk about stuff and reveal authorship after voting closes, or do we have to wait until the results are revealed?

I'm guessing we have to wait until the results are revealed so that it's still anonymous to the judges. So once the critique thread is live, you're good to go. (Or if you make the top 32, it gets revealed for you!)
