The level 1 investigator has the feat Weapon Focus. How is that possible when his BAB is 0?
Based on his Free RPG Day incarnation, I'm guessing that was supposed to be Weapon Finesse. I still catch myself thinking in 3.5 terms and saying that's illegal, too.
I looked at the Hunter pregen, hoping I would see how they say she uses the Skirmisher tricks, no such luck. :(

He has STR higher than DEX. I doubt they intended to give him Weapon Finesse. Let's go with the "Power of Quinn" explanation. Chuck Norris wishes he could be like Quinn!
Like the Investigator, the Skald pregen has Weapon Focus (handaxe) when it shouldn't. Either it's a remnant of a much earlier build where it had full BAB, or Double Slice was the intended feat for the character. Unknown at this time.
Also, Skald does not get Perform (Wind) as a class skill nor can benefit from the Versatile Performance feature with said skill. Unless that happened to be intended, but left out due to one of the many typos in the actual ACG. Would help to make a certain featured archetype actually more playable.
I do like how it clarifies a question regarding Extra Rage Power and how it works with Raging Song. That should work as our baseline for some rulings.

That's what I get for using the document beside my chair instead of looking at the posted file. In that case, I guess they just wanted him removed from the campaign for being an illegal character.
Why exactly does he have a 14 Strength, anyway? He's not carrying that much gear. And how does he prepare extracts without an alchemy crafting kit? How does he see in a dark dungeon with no light source?

Looks to me as though they "fixed" the problem of Quinns ineffectiveness in the game day module risen from the sands by giving him 14 str and 12 dex rather than the ten strength 14 dex he has in risen from the sands
Of course you can't use these pregens in that module so we have a corner case solution trying to be the generic solution
But at least the Mighty Quinn is the strongest investigator you'll ever see (at least in physical strength terms)
I'm Liking the pregens and I do know they will never be exactly as I would've built them but Quinn does seem a little off what an iconic investigator should look like in terms of stats. Artwork is pretty awesome though

Don't you remember? He's already killed me once; I completely believe he would do it again! The Paizo health plan might be good, but it doesn't cover more than one resurrection per year.

Jason could always bring you back as undead with his newly acquired lich abilities then no need to worry about further health coverage.

Uh. Where does the investigator @ 7th level hide his wand of scorching Ray that casts TWO rays per casting? It's in the info but not the inventory.It's the first thing in his inventory: "wand of scorching ray (CL 7th; 8 charges)".
Ah.. I was looking with the OTHER wands.. my bad.. I was asking for a reason.. (I wear glasses for a reason)

Thanks guys! It was not easy to build all of these, but I was hoping to go for something that would let a new player feel awesome about having the right thing for a tricky situation. From games I've seen, nothing makes a new player happier and more likely to come back than when something bad happens and they have just the right thing to help, with high-fives around the table. So where relevant, I figured it was worth it to have one less +1 in order to have those.
What does everyone think about the no-frills simple wording description of each ability and item to let new players know what they have available? When you use these guys in Silverhex and beyond, let me know how those are helping.

I have to agree that I like the variety of how these are built. I like the fact that Kess, the Brawler, is built as a grappler and that all the characters have great utility items to contribute during a scenario. Oils of daylight and potions of fly are items we recommend to players all the time and the fact that even martial characters carry a wand of cure light wounds really reflects what we see in actual play.
I can see some of these characters really contributing to an adventure at the mid to higher tiers.

No they are not fixed and yes you can
(the only illegal two are the 1st levels with weapon expertise at higher levels they've done some retraining and you may wish to change the stats on the lvl 7 shaman to match with the lvl 4 version)
As for weapon expertise if it really offends you pretend thay have both actually done 1 adventure and accquired a MW weapon and took cosmopolitan taking 2 languages that will not occur in the scenario i/o weapon expertise
