Seriously though, even if you only take that stairwell once or twice a week, how do you miss the big sign that asks you to be quiet because the "bees are at work"? Not to mention the big f-ing box with the bees swarming around it.

Anyway, the only reason I didn't just go ahead and work from home today is because my supervisor set our monthly meeting for today. I'm gonna be really peeved if he forgets about it and/or reschedules.

There will be BBQ today.

Mmmmmm……lunch truck BBQ.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting through a webinar on pipe supports. Fun times.

Webinars are awesome. All the training a growing engineer needs to help maintain his PE license, or just learn something cool, but without having to leave your desk. And a lot of these webinars will offer you a download of the presentation. Some of which are really good for a quick reference.

The only downside is if I have to use the head. My Bluetooth headset doesn’t extend all the way to the restroom.

I can, however, get water or coffee refills if I’m thirsty. At least the kitchen is close enough.

Lunch turned out NOT to be BBQ. This was because the BBQ place temporarily sold out of food. Since we didn't have time to wait for them to have more available, we had to go somewhere else.

Ended up at some new Mexican restaurant. I'm not big on Mexican food, simply because most of the food they serve doesn't agree with me. I usually stick to something simple like fajitas and still end up wasting food. This place did not have fajitas, so I ordered a steak (of sorts). Still ended up not eating most of the food they served me.

Needless to say, if they ever go there again, I'll skip.

At least I lucked out by having brought a bit of extra food with me to the office today. Had it stashed in my desk.
