I felt kind of bad last night. This one scout is scrambling to get his Eagle requirements finished, and there was a furious exchange of text messages last night. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of them until nearly 10 pm.
I had been watching a movie, then reading. While I was doing that, my phone was plugged in and on silent. Which it almost always is. On silent, that is.
Anyway, luckily, it looks like they got everything they needed without my help.

I just saw an article about a series in the works for FX called (for now) Very Young Frankenstein. It'd be a sequel to the classic Mel Brooks movie, with that legend serving as an executive producer.
Which probably means they slap his name on it in hopes fans of Mel will give it a shot before being disappointed because modern comedy writers are a bunch of weak little b@#$hs who couldn't get enough laughs to power a flashlight in the Monster's Inc universe.
Not to mention there's nobody left in Hollywood who is anywhere in the vicinity of being equal to the great Gene Wilder.
